Sorry to hear of the uncertainty at work.

Glad you and DH are pleased with the work. It makes it worthwhile

Glad you are both pleased with the work.  Were senior managers being re-interviewed for their current jobs or a reorganisation or have I misunderstood?  Unsettling whatever the reason....
It's a full reorganisation where the aim is to get rid of up to 25% of the staff, so none of us know where we will sit or if we'll have a job by the end of it.  They were both in the play for new jobs but didn't get them, there will also be other senior staff going.   The rest of the organisation still to be restructured.  It's horrible for us all but in a way worse for them as they were restructured last year, and this has all happened since then.

Hurrah, the electrics are all finished now!  Hopefully he'll send the invoice through quickly so that I can get it paid. I don't like things hanging around.  That's probably 2/3rd of the house rewired now, the last part will be the hardest due to there not really being any way we can easily empty our bedroom so that the floorboards can be lifted.  The other bit will be the kitchen, but that's just a whole new nightmare and not one to worry about for now until we've got a lot more savings behind us.

I've had a productive day at work, trying to tackle my to do list before I go on leave.  One more day to go.  I look forward to the break!  My health anxiety is starting to manifest again, so I definitely need a break from everything, it's usually a sign that I'm getting overwhelmed.

Must feel good to have paid electrician and reviewed him already?
