I've cleared my two bookcases and moved them, and sorted out the rest of my stuff that's in the way. DH still is to make a start on his. It's encouraging me to get rid of more and more stuff though. The more I have to deal with it, the more minimalistic I want to be! It's even making me think of getting rid of some more books. There are some that are earmarked to be read and get rid, so I should focus on them.
Little jwil has mostly sorted his room, so I need to move things from there. Little miss's room is a disaster zone again. I've done a bit, but lost the will to live so will do some more tomorrow. She's up there tidying as well. I think we need to get rid of her chest of drawers and probably replace it with a cube unit. At least then she'd just be able to lob all her clothing in a cube and it would be off the floor, even if it wasn't sorted as I would. I was reading a book about how different types of storage work for different personalities, and think that might work better for her (and my stress levels!)."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Most of the stuff is moved now, just a few last bits to do, probably in the morning.
This house could be so much nicer without the stuff 😭 DH just doesn't get it.
We went out for lunch with friends which was nice. My stress/anxiety is starting to kick in now, it's just the hassle of it all, and hoping all the juggling everything goes well, that I manage to work ok, plus having someone in the house (who is perfectly nice!). I just hate it all. Of course DH is back to work tomorrow so immune to it all. At least I'm on leave from Friday and it will all be over by then!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". It's hard having strangers in the house (even nice strangers) It will be over soon and it will all have been worth it. Not much longer...If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

My ASD/ADHD son just seems oblivious to mess - we’ve cubes for this reason so boxers, socks, pjs just get lobbed into them. For his trousers we have just had shelves put in so they are all on the shelves like in a shop and for t shirts etc even though we have fully fitted wardrobes in his room we have an open hanging rail where they live ! If it’s not actually there in front of him he just doesn’t see it …..Sealed pot challenge 822

It's better now he's actually here and everything has been moved. The new lights in the middle room are great, so a positive already!
