Another day, another blockage 😡 This really sucks. I don't think we're abnormal and we've been really trying to be careful, making sure we aren't using loads of toilet paper.
Happy payday though! I've got the day off today so we are meant to be heading out."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee4 -

Oh, the toilet blockages sound frustrating.
Good luck with your PBs. I got frustrated and changed mine but now miss the buzz of possibility..

It is very frustrating, but i am very tentatively hopeful that something may have cleared this morning. Something ‘popped’ this morning which sounds dodgy but the toilet has been running properly since.doingitanyway said:Oh, the toilet blockages sound frustrating.

I withdrew most of my pbs this month to pay for the bathroom and electrics so with the £100 I added today I’m back to £500. I haven’t won for ages so I agree it’s frustrating but I do like the hope at the end of each month!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Yes definitely. I’ve successfully used my Spanish on holiday. Definitely made a difference.jwil said:
That's brilliant! Do you find it works to improve your language skills?Sun_Addict said:I’m on my 1427 day streak with Duolingo learning Spanish. I enjoy it on the whole. Thought about brushing up my French and German. Tried Greek but abandoned when it started going into another alphabet 😬

Happy August! I got a nice bit of interest this month as I kept the money for the work in the house in my pad account. So I have added to it by padding the equivalent again.
Most of the bills have come out this morning. Back to work today but at least it's only for a day. This weekend we need to be moving everything around for the electrician on Monday."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do".
