To unblock the loo use Soda crystals (cheap as chips), about a quarter of a bag, tipped into the toilet bowl. Leave for a while (an hour maybe) and then half fill a bucket with warm (NOT hot) water and pour that into the toilet bowl.

    Repeat as necessary
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?

    Thanks for the pics.

Hope DH fixes the loo. Time for cheap loo roll?
Thank you.  I fixed it

We use who gives a crap recycled loo roll normally, it's great value and thin enough that it breaks down well so I have no concerns about that.  I'd found some old loo roll that we had before we made the switch, so I was decluttering that.  It can be used for blowing noses instead!

Thank you.  I tied bicarb and vinegar with warm water, but we then went and bought a pump plunger which has cleared it.  I have soda crystals so shall be doing regular maintenance I think in the hope not to have a repeat action!

Great PADS and lovely pics.  I know the weather hasn't been great but it all looks so green.  Glad the loo is fixed x

It's a lovely day out there :).  DH is off car booting, but we'll take the kids out when he's back.  We'll stop at the large supermarket while we are out to try and make a start on the school stuff.

Busy morning so far.  We've done family haircuts, I've decluttered a drawer, and am moving everything away from my BT cloud account to an external hard drive as the cloud account is closing.  I'm also downloading things from my icloud account as I don't want to pay for storage.  I need to do a proper digital declutter, then I want to make some photobooks up so that I do also have a hard copy of my favourite photos.  I'll then make sure I'm only storing the photos I love, rather than absolutely everything I take.

I've got our duvet in the wash but will do the rest of the bedding tomorrow when I know I'm around to empty the washing machine and get it all hung out.

I've cancelled my audible membership, and will probably renew it when the next strike book comes out.  Until then, I've got loads to listen to anyway, and there's also plenty on Borrowbox.

I downloaded duolingo yesterday.  I'd like to refresh my French and then take it much further.  I did a few OU courses back in the day but I think I've forgotten most of it. I'd love to be someone who is fluent in several languages, so I'll make a start.

I've got loads of listing to do as well.

    Have a good day everyone.

Thank you :)  I suppose that's one benefit of the rubbish weather, it's all green.

Enjoy being in bed!  I get up early but it also means I go to bed early :)
