Happy Friday! We are off out today. I wasn't going to go, but the kids decided they wanted me there so off I go.
I need to get on with sorting the house ready for next week, so that will be over the weekend. At least it should be a little cooler.

I'm also hoping it will be cooler today. Have a lovely family day

Thank you both. It was definitely slightly cooler today so that was a relief. It was a good day, we went to a theme park, so I wasn't going to go as I don't go on the rides and didn't want to spend the day standing around in the heat. But I'm glad I went as it wasn't too bad. The kids enjoyed it. Expensive day as we also got pizza as I didn't feel like cooking, but it was worth itbeanielou said:Enjoy your day.

Happy Saturday! Today is mostly about tidying and sorting. DH has decided he is going to do a boot sale to try and clear some bulky items. It would be nice if he succeeds!
Two parcels posted today and more selling tomorrow so some progress is being made.
I heard back from my creditor and they are offering a 19% discount for F&F so not worth bothering with at this stage. It can wait for now. I haven't got that money anyway now I've spent most of my savings on the work to the house (which is more important!)"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do".
