I've been up since 4am this morning. I just couldn't sleep. I did a bit more moving stuff around and cleaning downstairs (which will set me up nicely for the weekend), and then booted the kids out of their rooms at 6.45 so I could empty little jwil's room. I wasn't sure it would fit everywhere else but it did. There was still an awful lot of ranting about all the stuff from me this morning"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". dawnybabes said:My ASD/ADHD son just seems oblivious to mess - we’ve cubes for this reason so boxers, socks, pjs just get lobbed into them. For his trousers we have just had shelves put in so they are all on the shelves like in a shop and for t shirts etc even though we have fully fitted wardrobes in his room we have an open hanging rail where they live ! If it’s not actually there in front of him he just doesn’t see it ….."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". I've woken up with a stinking headache today which is helpful when I know today will be very noisy! The kids are going to a relatives today so as to avoid the noise. I expect mine is not drinking enough so I shall be guzzling water to try and clear it.
After today though I should be able to put most of the furniture back though, and get back to my normal working set up tomorrow which will be more comfortable. Next job will be to try and find a plasterer!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Yes, water should reduce your headache symptoms whatever the cause.
Good luck with the search for a plastererIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

I've had a 90s radio station on as a bit of background noise while the electrician is here so we're not both sat in (relative) silence, and I must say I'm loving hearing music I haven't heard for ages. I just have to be mindful to sing in my head and not out loud"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". The bulk of the work is done now, and I can start getting the furniture back. It means I can go back to my usual work set up tomorrow which will be much more comfortable! We are so pleased with it - even DH which is saying something!
In less pleasant news, two senior managers who I work with are being made redundantIt's such a shame and a great loss. I only vaguely know the ones who got the jobs, so there's always a little uncertainty about how they will be to work with. I guess it shows that no one is safe!

Glad you are both pleased with the work. Were senior managers being re-interviewed for their current jobs or a reorganisation or have I misunderstood? Unsettling whatever the reason....2
