"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee2 -
Happy Friday! I'm looking forward to the weekend.
The kids have the school fete tonight, and little jwil is doing a stall, and little miss is performing at country dancing. She's just informed me that she wants me to partner with her on one dance. That wasn't something I was expecting!
Luckily my knee has improved today, just twinges. I was worried I was going to be back to weeks of pain like before.
Going to see family and say thank you for the help with the school runs etc the last couple of weeks meaning I didn't have to dash out in the afternoon. Then home to start the tidy up, and think about prepping for the electrician. I don't want a mad rush to have to find homes for loads of stuff."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Well done on the PADs and getting the bathroom done. Glad your knee hasn't reached the horrific proportions of previous pain. Hope the pain improves completely soon. Have a lovely weekend.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Glad your knee is feeling better jwil. House improvements really do cost so much 🙈 I think it's worth it though to know it's done and then all you need to do is decorate and enjoy 😁MORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. First knee is feeling much better thankfully. I've just twisted the other one though now!

I think my knees are out to get me at the moment! I've just twisted my other one. Hopefully it will ease soon. That one hasn't given me pain before, so I don't want to damage it.
We are having a quiet one today, the kids both had busy days yesterday and are tired. DH is doing a tip run so that will get rid of some stuff. I've been pottering around.
I took another bag of clothing to the clothing bank yesterday, and have a bag of school uniform that I will donate to the school next week.
I did join in with the country dancing at the fete last night, so little miss was happy."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee4 -
I've had a kinda pottering around day too. I think they're the best kind of day 😊MORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. January 1st £118,267.06.
