Rain has arrived here today, thankfully it waited until after the school run! It's the final week, I'm looking forward to a break!
Hopefully we can get the electrician booked in at some point. I've decided it won't be on the two weeks I'm off work! I will allow it during DH's time off though, as a) he hasn't had any dealings with sorting any of this, it's all been on me, and b) he can always take the kids out if need be and I can still be here. If the work is being done while I'm off, then we'd all have to stay at home as DH would be at work.
A few sales at the weekend, so a little more trickling out."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee2 -
Don't blame you not having the electrician in the time you are offIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Happy Thursday! It's my last day juggling school runs and work for a few weeks, I can't wait for the break. It means I'll be able to do slightly shorter days for a while as well, as I won't need to allow for the time to head to school.
Little jwil's leavers service tonight, I'm sure that will be emotional.
We got reports yesterday, both of them were lovely, little miss is ahead of expectations on reading, writing and maths, and little jwil is ahead of expectations on maths. I don't know where they get their maths genius from as it's not from me! More than that though, they were both described as kind, motivated, hard working and enthusiastic, so that makes me very proud!
Plan today is to accept the quote from the electrician and hopefully book something in. I asked for something to be added, and he's done that at no additional cost so that's good."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do".
