Oh DH! 😖 that is so annoying…and embarrassing for you when you thought the access to the loft area was sorted. I hate micromanaging mine, but the alternative is to not take any responsibility when it doesn’t get done!
I was so angry.  I did make it clear that I don't ever go up there so was reliant on his word.

I padded to the wrong account yesterday 🤦‍♀️  Oh well, it still counts.

Thanks to SH I checked my cashback account yesterday and found that my car insurance cash back had become payable, so I've withdrawn that.  I'd forgotten all about it!  When it arrives I will PAD that.

There's a well paying survey in PA at the moment, so hopefully it will still be there at lunchtime.

Looking forward to seeing some more progress in the bathroom today!

It did, I have a shiny new toilet and sink now, and the electrician turned up and reconnected the shower

When the electrician was here yesterday I asked him to give us a quote for some more of the work needing done to upgrade the wiring and install some more sockets.  If the quote is reasonable, then there will only be our bedroom and the front room left to do.

The bathroom is taking shape, I think it's just the grouting and connecting the towel rail and shower screen, plus some finishing off to do.  I'm half hoping today will be enough to finish as my anxiety is high and I could do with a bit of rest.  It will be so lovely once it's done.

There will be not much point in getting the plasterer in until the electrics are done, as at least one of the tasks will mean a wall needs skimming, and I'd rather get it all done at once.  The same with the flooring as we want to get little jwil's bedroom carpeted, and maybe the hall/stairs/landing as well depending on how much funds we've got left.  But then I'll probably want to get some decorating done too.  Hmm, things are spiralling :D
