Morning everyone. Everything's so hectic at the moment, last week I spent the whole time dashing around different places. There's loads on at school too, so additional costs and juggling everything. Roll on the summer holidays!
Work is just miserable at the moment, and some of the decisions they are making are just so risky and likely to bite them in the rear in future. I did speak up about it last week and got shot down, but several people in our team said thank you as they were all thinking the same, and my boss had been trying to raise it as well. I've probably put myself on the hit list now 🙄
DH has suggested a weekend of car booting this weekend, so that is the plan. Fingers crossed we sell lots! The kids have been sorting out some bits to go, and DH has finally agreed to let some items go that I've been suggesting for ages.
I got my new glasses yesterday with the varifocals. They seem ok for while I'm out and about, but they aren't really working for me when reading at home or on the laptop. I'll give them a good test when I'm back at work, but I think the whole idea of wearing them for screens might have been a waste of time."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". I speak up too, I think I’m at that age 😬 It’s very difficult not to say I told you so when it all goes wrong!

Back from a very productive boot sale!
We sold a fair amount including a trampoline, bike, scooter, 2 x ride on toys and lots of little bits and pieces including a crate of books from me. We will have space in the shed at long last!
We are going to do another one tomorrow as well so I'm trying to find some more stuff to add to the newly created space in the car
Better still, today's was at the seaside so we went up early so we could spend an hour at the coast and have the obligatory ice cream"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee7 -
