Happy Friday and Happy Payday! At long last! I'm just doing the money shuffle. Annoyingly I haven't had my elections payment, so I think I'll give it til lunchtime and if I haven't heard anything otherwise, then I will drop them a line. I went back and checked the letter and it definitely said the end of May.
I've cleaned the bathroom and got my bedding in the wash. It's looking like another nice day. I need to clean through the house as it's feeling grubby, but other than that, not a lot planned today. I need to do the patio again as it looks like a jungle again. It's amazing how high it gets in a week or so."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Numpty alert!
I had received my elections payment, but it was hidden by the fact that other payments had come out of my account. I realised once I actually looked at my wages 🤦♀️ At least I noticed before I went moaning at them

Happy June everyone!
I've added £100 to PBs, and will consider what else after all the bills come out on Monday. I think my election payment will be used to catch up on things rather than being saved, so I'm not behind next month. I've paid most of the school stuff, so there shouldn't be any big bills there, until uniform for next year. Little miss will get little jwil's cast off PE t-shirt, ties and anything else with the logo, so I think she will just need shirts and maybe skirts, and socks. Little jwil will need everything. Both will need new shoes and trainers.
This week is going to be a hectic one, I've got a SEN meeting with little miss's teacher, little jwil needs to be at a different school one day after school for a rounders match, school photos, and I need to get my new glasses on Friday (at least they are already paid for). I've got flexi so will use that rather than trying to max my hours around everything.
Today we might go to a village fete this afternoon, but other than that I'm planning on having a quiet weekend. I feel tired and drained so fancy resting. Probably a little pottering around in the garden and the house."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do".
