I got myself a new electric toothbrush in my shopping this morning as the button is going on my current one. I ordered the cheapest at £25, but they substituted it for a much more expensive one. Result! Not that I'm particularly fussed about frills, but it will be interesting to see if there's actually any difference.
I'm looking forward to my day off tomorrow, the first day to myself in a few weeks. No swimming tomorrow either as its still the Christmas break there, and because little miss will be going to a gymnastics club on a Friday for a few weeks, I have just moved her lesson to a Thursday evening so that means no traipsing across town at rush hour for a while!
Hope everyone is ok with the horrendous weather. So much flooding around here again, it's been chucking it down this afternoon."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee2 -
Hello there belated Happy New Year as a self confessed 'GRAZER' I can totally identify with needing windows for eating etc.
I'm hoping that self care and being more comfy with my habits, tweaking them and feeling the benefit will be good for me this year. I've a new GD arriving in the next few weeks and already help out alot with GD1 so I really need to look after myself.
Looking forward to hearing more about your 2024 journey.
My new job is Tues-Thurs so I'm also looking forward to that Friday feeling on a Thursday.
Well done on the PAD - are any surveys in particular better than others atm?3 -

I got rid of most of the survey sites as I was spending too much time getting screened out. Prolific is the one that I get most out of, though I'm doing quite well on One Poll as well."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Happy weekend everyone!
I had a busy day yesterday finally taking down the decorations and tackling little miss's room. I took two bags of clothing to the clothing bank at school, though that was stuff that had been sorted previously rather than new stuff. I do intend to go through our clothes fairly soon though in good old Kondo style. Picking up little miss's floordrobe, she definitely has too much stuff, and I'm sure a lot is outgrown. Maybe if she has less she'll keep it a bit tidier (I wish!).
Today I want to tidy around and move the furniture back once DH has put the decorations back up into the loft. I'm starting on the great spring clean, so will give everything a good clean before I put it back.
I've sold an item on ebay so that will be posted later. Only small but it's something else gone. I do need to start listing and sorting the toys we've identified to go.
I have walked to school each morning, and I've stuck to my 1hr eating windows each day this week, so that's a good start! It might be coincidence, but my ibs has improved a lot as well, so that's another bonus. I've made an effort to move more during my working day, but that's always easier when it's quieter, and I've done something each day to improve the house, that might be cleaning, tidying or decluttering, but it all counts!

Good luck with your listing. I am starting mine today after a break since the beginning of December. I hate standing in PO queues and yes I know they will collect but they are here about the time we walk the dog.

Thank you. Good luck with your sales. I print postage online and we drop it off at the local shop. Much easier and we can do it any time so it works for us. We don't use RM any more as too many problems, although my sale today was just a post box job, so I just used stamps.ladyholly said:Good luck with your listing.
