Well done with the walking.  The 'snack windows' sound like a good idea and the timings fit in with 'normal' meals... fingers crossed XXX
    I Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.

happiness isn't achieved by getting extra things,
but by getting rid of the things that make you unhappy
  • Happy belated new year @jwil! Finally managing to catch up on all the diaries after having a pretty difficult December. You are doing amazing & are such an inspiration.  My goals for 2024 are pretty much the same as yours & self care is top of the list!  I love the idea of snacking windows & May pinch that. Me & the boys are not back at school/work till Monday so I am enjoying this calm period!

Take care my lovely & good luck with everything xx
  • The snack windows sound good for establishing the habit.  I do TRE - 12noon to 8pm is the eating window.  I’m really good at not eating before 12.  Most of my snacks are around 430 or 7pm ish.  I too would like to just eat meals and reduce snacks.  I do the 12noon start as I really don’t love breakfast so it suits me.
Look forward to seeing how that goes.

Sorry to hear you had a challenging December, hope everything is ok.  Good luck with your goals, and hope the snacking windows work for you!  Enjoy your week off :)

I go to bed early so the early day suits me.  I'm also hungry in the morning :D  I'd like to get to an 8 hour window eventually, but 10 is easy to manage for me at the moment and from what I've read is a good balance between being easy to stick to and still getting good results.  It's done me a world of good stopping snacking in the evening - I rarely feel the urge to now.  Good luck with yours!

It's nice to realise that today is my Friday   It's actually been quite a relaxed week, so I've achieved quite a lot.  I wish all weeks were like that!

Hello jwil - "Friday" here too - doesn't it make a difference!

Your PAD totals for last year were so impressive - it really goes to underline how that small habit each day can make such a huge difference doesn't it - well done!

As with others - it's good reading the round up and establishing how much was achieved, as well as the new plans for the new year - and of course the faithful here are incredibly good about reminding you to be your own cheerleader too - and that you should!

Thank you :)   It's always nice to have that Friday feeling on a Thursday.

My brain is usually so befuddled, I forget what I've been doing.  I should really keep track better!
