I was going to ask if had a total of the PADs for the year and you have - amazing 👏 It just shows how small amounts add up. I think you’ve done really well with the decluttering too. A lot of people try to do too much too quickly then fall off the wagon. You’ve proved that chipping away is better. Well done.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

Well done on the pads and declutter and some excellent plans for 2024. It may be the declutter total is less as you are winning in the clutter stakes if you know what I mean. Have a lovely evening and I hope your anxiety doesn't get in the way for you. All the best. XJan 18 Joint debts 35,213

Excellent result on the PADs and decluttering. You've had a lot of upheaval in recent months with rewiring and the new boiler - but have also seen big results like a separate room for one of your kids and an old car gone. Lots to celebrate.

There's definitely less to declutter, but also less decluttering taking place
So it could be better!

That's very true, thanks for the reminder. I do forget what we've achieved! Happy New Year.

Happy new year to you both. I hope the anxiety goes soon too! "Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee2 -
Happy New Year everyone, hope 2024 is happy, healthy and peaceful for everyone. Thank you to everyone who lurks, reads, posts, provides advice, support or a kick up the rear, it's all very much appreciated.

Today's PAD - £5

Hope everyone had an enjoyable evening whatever (if anything!) they did.
I was in bed usual time so up nice and early today. We'll be going to the seaside later to blow away the cobwebs.
I've made a start on the PADs this morning, and DH gave me some money yesterday towards a joint gift so I've used that to buy some PBs instead as I've already paid for it.
Spending tracking starts today. I've bought 2 books on kindle 99p deals this morning, but I won't count those as they've come out of a Christmas gift card so not my money."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Great progress on lots of fronts, hope you can see that? Well done 👏🏼👏🏼2
