Woo hoo! It's Friday. It's been a hectic week.
I managed to get a car share for the meeting the other day in the end, so that was good, then we got caught in really heavy snowfall. We did manage to get to the meeting though and it went on all day, so that was a day wasted. I still don't see any reason why it couldn't be virtual. The other one I was meant to go to, I joined virtually, so didn't have to risk the ice. It's been a very hectic week, so much for reducing my hours! I've ended the week with more than I started even though I managed to lose a couple of hours at the start of the week. I shall have to try and do some very short days and have some long lunch breaks next week.
Today I want to try and clear some of the small bedroom so I can perhaps make a start on that tomorrow. I've made no progress with that this week. I've also got some listings to do and admin to catch up on.
Roll on the milder weather. So fed up with the ice!
Have a good day everyone"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee2 -
Just read this article. It's exactly what I'm trying to do, so putting it in here to remind me: https://theconversation.com/watching-your-weight-you-may-only-need-to-make-small-changes-to-your-daily-routine-197327"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". It's horrid with all the ice and snow, ours should be gone next week, are you due any milder weather?

I'm making very slow progress with emptying the small room. I've got a load of the kid's stuff out that I dumped in there, but there's more of DH's than I realised
I am determined to get it empty to decorate it though, as it will be much easier to plan. It's a small room with a fixed double bed in there over an old cupboard that's been knocked out, so it will have to be carefully thought about to fit everything in. I also want to do it properly and not keep having to move stuff!
DH took the kids out today so I've had a nice day to myself. General tidying, sorting the small room, and I even managed to do a short you tube workout so I'm pleased. I did manage to sit and enjoy the peace as well for a bit.
DH has sold another few items so that's good news. I still have listing to do though."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee2
