I'd request a VR estimate, as it will send a message to the decision makers that you are seriously unsettled. If asked why you want it (unlikely), that will give you the opportunity to vent. 

Is there a union? It'd be worth talking to them for their insights.

Thank you.  I think I might ask for one, as if nothing else it will help me know if it comes up again.  I don't know if it's open to all or just those at risk.  I'm not a member of the union, though I have been considering joining.  I've seen that there's a department Q&A session next week so hopefully there will be some answers there!  I've also got a one to one on Monday, so I will take that opportunity to vent.

Thank you!  It's done!  The school runs are over until September

So much for tidying and cleaning today, I looked at the weather forecast, saw it's meant to be wet for the forseeable so sat around in the sun with my book.  I did do some weeding as well, so haven't achieved 'nothing'.   

Little jwil came out of school and decluttered his school shoes into the clothing bank while I was talking to someone 🤦‍♀️😆  (he was wearing his trainers). That wasn't exactly supposed to happen, but at least they are gone I suppose.  He does need new ones.

Sorry you are potentially on basic terms for redundancy. I'd be careful over the venting while you are weighing up your options. You don't want to burn bridges prematurely.

Yes it was, and they needed replacement anyway, so I'm not too bothered.  But it does ask that things are bagged before placing them in the bank!

Thank you.  I will express my frustrations, but I am always quite measured with my words, so will do so in a positive way.  I'm not one for going off on a rant,  I just do that on here, it's where I get all my rage off my chest

I came home from swimming and DH told me he's asked some friends to look after the dog when we go away.  They've agreed, so that's nice of them.  We were going to take her, but there's quite a lot of things we'd quite like to do that dogs can't go into, so we will be able to do them now, and it will make life easier.

I'm going to see if I can get a refund on the pet fee now.  I doubt it, but if I don't ask, I definitely won't get!
