I have been very lucky with surveys recently and have a good amount pending cashout.  That will make a nice difference to my total!  I'm close to cashing out on one poll as well which is nice.

2 more days til the school holidays.  Can't wait!

We had school reports yesterday.  Lovely ones for both little jwil and little miss.  I am very proud!  Little jwil is ahead of where they would expect on maths, and little miss is ahead on reading and writing.  We need to do a bit of work on little miss's PE skills, so that is something we can look at over the summer.  I think it's confidence building rather than physical skills that is needed.

I read with interest the articles in the press yesterday saying that doing 150 minutes exercise over 1 or 2 occasions e.g. the weekend is almost as beneficial as spreading it out over the week.  It's much more pleasant to say go for a nice walk over the weekend than it is walking the same route in the week trying to fit it in.  I do give up easily in the week when work/life is busy, but am more inclined to do stuff at the weekend.

You're doing really well with the PADs again this month and catching up with your very impressive total for last month.

How lovely to read good reports for your little ones.

Fingers crossed for good news for your relative.

Thank you :)   I didn't expect to get anywhere near last month's total any time soon.

Exactly!  She's fairly active, swimming, used to do Jr parkrun, always signs up for the sporty afterschool clubs, so it's not like she's not doing anything!

My first was an avacado green one, with complimentary fancy patterned green tiles. I was lucky enough to get a matching kitchen too 🤭
That sounds delightful :D  Did they carry on the green theme through the rest of the house as well?
Apologies - I am catching up so probably dragging up a conversation that has moved on, but this made me chuckle...

When we moved in to the flat, the bathroom was graced with a blue suite. We hated it, and it was probably the thing I was most glad to see gone when the room was ripped out and started again! I could understand how the previous owners had got stuck with it though - a new bathroom is after all a pretty big undertaking. What was less forgivable was the fact that the hallway was half painted in gloss yellow over woodchip wallpaper, and in the kitchen they had decided to paint the tiled bits of wall in a dark gloss green...and the rest of the room in a sort of hospital green it gave the unsettling feeling of being underwater!

I'm thinking it might be some of the other skills like balance etc.  She's nervous about balancing on stuff and climbing, so I can understand that side of it.  I think she's flexible enough, but worth looking at thank you.  Having the confidence to try new things too is something worth working on.

That doesn't matter, I love hearing about everyone's lovely experiences :D

Yellow gloss woodchip sounds like a double nightmare, and interesting kitchen decor too :D:D
