Thanks chums I had scrambled eggs for breakfast about 7.45 and now on water only until after the procedure .I'm missing my mid morning cuppa and ginger nuts right now . Keep looking at the clock ,eledest DD is picking me up at 2.30 so another 4 hours to go 
its really dragging at the moment

Evening All
I have just heard from Jackie and she asked me to let you know that she has had her procedure, unfortunately she still has Dora the drain but is at home and will get some rest as she is very tired
They also found a hernia so she needs to see the consultant to decide on the next move
