Gosh I wish, my Drs were, even to my old eyes not much to get excited about ,although the surgeon Mr Andrews was rather nice and the gas man was young enough to be one of my grandsons  

Hopefully I shall give this depressing year an great big kick in the rear end, and look forward to the coming one.

This time last year I really wasn't very well at all and Christmas wasn't a great time for me or my family,as I ended up at midnight on New Years Eve with a lovely West Indian nurse and I wishing each other a Happy New Year to the sounds of the bells on the River Medway as she was removing blood from my arm and trying to make each other smile. Bless her she was a real sweetie. But now every day I am getting better and now down to only one stick instead of two.

Decluttering like BillyO so I'll have less to pack once we find a new home on the IoW. My DD had a big flood right in the middle of the builders and decorators and had to have all her carpets and flooring replaced, and she's had no end of problems getting her house in a better state and it will all be good to go by Friday of this week fingers crossed  

She eventually got so fed up with her builder who has been massing her around since July she finally dumped him and got a better one so two more days and her place is finished

I'm there until the day after Boxing day then the three of us DD her OH and I plus the three dogs are off to the IoW until New Year and some house hunting. I will dog sit the three mutts, and if they see something they think is good I will go with one of them for the second look and the dogs will be taken care of while I look as well. We all will agree on a few places hopefully and see what we can find We are hoping to move by late spring early summer depends on what we like as it will be our forever home and definitely my last move so once we have one that ticks the boxes we want it will be all systems go.

Exciting times ahead and this year will just be a memory thank goodness

   Thank you for the good wishes I soo hope I have no further visits anywhere near a hospital or Drs in 2024. I will be glad to see the end of this year as a year ago I was in hospital and spent New Years Eve listening to the bells ringing while a lovely West Indian nurse was trying to extract so blood from my  reluctant veins. Bless she wished me a Happy New Year  as well

But on the upside my eldest DGS and his wife in New York had their much wanted first child after 7 years and tonight they sent a small video of Daisy who has just stared to crawl around their apartment at nearly 6 months so a lovely new great granddaughter arrived to make this year a lot better
