Hi chums,
thank you all so much for your good wishes .people are so kind and thoughtful bless them. DiamondLil its the drain that's getting me down the most I think .You are right its uncomfortable ,but necessary apparently. I just hope I can get it removed tomorrow.
The nurses have been brilliant and one came this afternoon to change the drain and renew the dressing and said 'we all have our fingers crossed for you in the office JackieThey are all definitely down for a big box of biscuits for the office, they have been really smashing ladies and we have all tried to keep cheerful
I had a reminder texted to my phone to say 'Don't forget your appointment ' (as that was likely ) from the admin officein the hospital
I'l let you all know tomorrow hopefully how things went
Cheers to you all,its St Paddy's day tomorrow perhaps I will have a bit of luck.
My grandson Danny's wife Hayley, (I'm knitting a baby blanket for the forthcoming baby) got in touch from New York this afternoon to wish me well
She's 24 weeks pregnant, and yesterdays scan showed the estimated size of baby Daisy is 1lb.10.ozs. due 4th July unless she has to have a Caesarean, which maybe a possibility at the moment.
But Mum and baby are both OK, and Dad is getting excited now, he will make a lovely Dad but will spoil her dreadfully I think.
right I'm off to have a cuppa as I will be restricted tomorrow after 8.00am to just water so I must top up my tea intake today
love to you all

Not long now Jackie, get some sleep to get up early enough for a bit of breakfast. I know from experience if you are on the afternoon list, it can be delayed by quite a lot, so do get something in you xxx8
