Yep! I wish I picked them up yesterday but I’m going to ring them on lunch to see if they still have them! 🤞

When you ring and ask if they still have them you could offer to pay for them over the phone so that they hold them for you until after you finish work.  Got to be worth asking.

Good bargains on the bedside tables there!

Also interesting to see the number of people on here looking at buying their first home - and wishing you all luck. It's great to know that the roof over your head is all yours and nobody can tell you that you need to leave (as long as you pay the mortgage of course!). A couple of bits of advice if I may - when you come to view, follow your gut instinct - if a place makes you uneasy or uncomfortable, or just doesn't feel quite right - then walk away - that feeling will always be in the background. Similarly though, view a few places that seem to be not quite right on the online listing - as long as the basis are right, a lot can be changed and you might love it when you get inside to view. Final one is once you have your home and your mortgage - start overpaying right from the beginning - even if it's just an extra £10 a month - the sooner you start with the OPs, the bigger the impact it has on end dates and the overall amount you pay over the term.

@EssexHebridean very good advice on overpaying. I wish I’d done that 20 years ago ⭐️

I wish we'd known about the impact sooner - we were 6 years in before we started. Next time round it all starts from month 2, indeed, we're actively factoring in overpayments being allowed when researching products!

    Morning all,

So I put my iPhone on eBay this morning with a starting bid of £380 and someone bid straight away on it. So hopefully I’ll get that sold asap!

  • Love that table J - very smart. It's worth knowing that store sometimes has better prices in store than they do online too - I'll have to take a wander into ours locally once we've moved I think.
