No buying until I’ve used up ALL my stashes

Before Xmas I got some books for my winter reading pile from our local Little Free Library. So far, I've read three and have made a point of taking them back once I've finished with them. Since it's on my way to the local Coop there's no excuse not to. I don't want to start another stash, especially as one of last year's efforts was to clear out most of my books.
The ones I've kept are mainly reference books but I'm thinking they could maybe go too I'll think on it.

Hi all, well all the yucky veg is used except for 2 sad parsnips.
Dinner last night was quiche ( from the freezer) and some of the veg roasted with maple syrup 😋
Today I made a big pot of carrot, parsnip and coriander soup. I'm taking most of it to daughter in law's tomorrow when I go to visit for granddaughters birthday. They all love this soup.I treated myself to an air fryer at Xmas and used it today to bake cheese scones. I've used this recipe loads but today's were definitely the best ever. I'm going to make more tomorrow and take them to go with the soup. Thanks for the idea @ariarnia and @katiehound.
When I was decluttering toiletries last week I found a bag of half used travel ones. I've been using these as they are all quite old and it's good to get rid of them.
I'm knitting gifts for a baby due in the next couple of weeks. I'm also hoping to make a quilted pram quilt. As usual I'm always rushing at the last minute. I'm using all the fabric and wool from my stash.Debt free - Mortgage free - Work free ( in that order)

Well my good intentions have been slightly derailed over the last 10 days or so. As a result, because I don’t know when my next opportunity to shop for fresh produce will be, I ended up in the supermarket buying far more than intended (including a few bits that will end up in the freezer), but hopefully it will keep me going for a while.
A few items taken from my toiletries stash yesterday but still haven’t had time to unbury several boxes from the far corner of the box room so no inventory of these as yet.I’ve almost finished the jumper I’ve been knitting for my granddaughter so need to decide what my next project will be - I found a book of animal hat knitting patterns that I’d forgotten I’d bought, so maybe one of those.I have to confess that I was almost tempted to buy more yarn last night (😳🤦🏻♀️) I had an email from a website I’ve bought from before with an offer on super chunky which made it ridiculously inexpensive - I have a pattern I’ve been dying to knit but the cost of the yarn made it prohibitively expensive but at these prices very reasonable - unfortunately (or fortunately 🤷🏻♀️) I can’t remember how much I would need and, having hunted for the pattern to check, can’t find where I’ve put it! 🤦🏻♀️2.22kWp Solar PV system installed Oct 2010, Fronius IG20 Inverter, south facing (-5 deg), 30 degree pitch, no shadingEverything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the endMFW #4 OPs: 2018 £866.89, 2019 £1322.33, 2020 £1337.07

I'm sure you don't really want to know but Sirdar seem to have some yarns at 50% off on their website.....
and no, I am not indulging having bought very cheap yarn in Aldi a couple of weeks ago: how could I refuse 50 g balls for 25 pence each ???? Silly money and will use for the shoeboxes.Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!

Today I'm doing a roast dinner, soup for weekday lunches and a stew for dinner Monday and Tuesday. Rice pudding for afters. All I had to buy was onions, and sprouts. Everything else I had in.
Disposed of an old handbag, surface layer was peeling away from the leather. I have had it about 14 years and it was a sale bargain.
Should finish another ball of wool today.
Slowly, very slowly but I'm getting there.
Looking forward to decluttered cupboards.6 -
Feeling slightly virtuous.
One full size moisturizer finished and in the recycle bin. As is an empty prescription bottle (I used to save those and film canisters to hold pins, beads, loose change).
One scrub top and a pullover into the donation bag.
Small steps, I know.
Bank account will be decluttered on Thursday as little dog is having surgery.8 -
Hi, I'm getting on well using things up 😀
This morning I finished the princess skirt for dgd - I'm going to visit them this Thursday although her birthday is not till the 24th. I now have her birthday bundle all ready to package. I also started cutting the fabric for the baby quilt. It's a mint green, grey and white Dumbo fabric that I had left over from a quilt I made last year. The parents-to-be want gender neutral colours so guessing the dumbo fabric will be fine. I'm on my third pair of bootees. The first were two tone grey then white and now beige. The last pair will be charcoal.Dinner last night was steak pie from the freezer and roast tinned potatoes and vegetables. I had fresh parsnip and opened a tin of carrots. I'm not keen on these but I added them to roast with the other veg and they were very good.I decluttered my knitting patterns yesterday and got rid of over 150!!! Most will go to a charity shop. The ones cut from magazines I've put in the recycling. I just decided that any pattern I'd bought before I retired and not knitted yet was going. There were also a lot of moss stitch patterns that I find very difficult due to arthritis - they're all gone as well. My knitting books are next 😳
I have now finished all bread type things from the freezer so will make bread soon. I think I've got enough bread flour for 2 loaves so pacing myself xxDebt free - Mortgage free - Work free ( in that order)

I got rid of another 2 magazines.I thought I had a stash of deodorants, but I could only find 1 stick for me, and 1 spray for husband. Luckily, the phamracy had a sale on deodorants, so I bought 4 for €10, which should last us some time. Husband has promised to finish the spray before he takes a new one. He has also promised to finish the bodylotion he started and nearly used up, even though he has also opened a bottle of his preferred brand.Are you wombling, too, in '22? € 58,96 = £ 52.09Wombling in Restrictive Times (2021) € 2.138,82 = £ 1,813.15Wombabeluba 2020! € 453,22 = £ 403.842019's wi-wa-wombles € 2.244,20 = £ 1,909.46Wombling to wealth 2018 € 972,97 = £ 879.54Still a womble 2017 #25 € 7.116,68 = £ 6,309.50Wombling Free 2016 #2 € 3.484,31 = £ 3,104.595

I am doing better with the food hoarding. I keep asking:
do I want the stuff or the space?
do I want to save a few pennies or have more worktop space?
those were question from an online decluttering course but they have hit home for me. I want full food cupboards but not overflowing ones as food deliveries become stressful when it doesn’t fit anywhere!working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?7
