And I have to admit there are times when Boots tempts me on a Tuesday when work is not going so well...No man is worth crawling on this earth.
So much to read, so little time.1 -
I've been AWOL here due to lots of things but still making progress on the stashes. After a couple of years of on off decluttering I've got an empty loft and a nearly empty shed but although the house is ok (ish) I've still got far too much STUFF in the house. During lockdown I kept stashes, I think we all did, and Altho I've stopped adding stuff there's still a lot to use up.No craft stuff nowadays, but I still buy big packs of everything which is daft when there's only me.So this month the only cleaning thing I've bought is bleach spray, and I've finally used the last plastic bottle shower gel so it's bar soap and shampoo all the way now. Feels weirdly liberating but I still stop to look at the shelves of bottles in the supermarket and have to say no to myself.
I've definitely hit SABLE with bar soap, so working my way through that. On the bright side I've got most of the way through January and still have money in my bank account!
My aim is to have a week or 2 of everything but let go of the feeling that I need to have more. I've found it helpful to gather a box of cleaning things and tins and jars for the food bank when I'm going that way, far better than leaving it to go OOD. I ponder sometimes on why I'm like this and whether it's too late to change, but on we go. It's nice to keep an eye on this thread too, feels friendly.Magnolia Stellata5 -

I agree with the Boots £10 Tuesday temptation - although it is not as good as it was when they first started it.Use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without2 -
Have finally finished knitting a jumper for my granddaughter (it took forever because I’ve been too tired and kept making mistakes which had to be unpicked and reknitted - I probably knitted three jumpers and unpicked the equivalent of two of them 🤦🏻♀️) but that’s 2 balls of the main colour yarn and some part balls of other colours for the pattern on the front used up.I also got round to re-colouring my hair, so that is one of the boxes of hair dye used2.22kWp Solar PV system installed Oct 2010, Fronius IG20 Inverter, south facing (-5 deg), 30 degree pitch, no shadingEverything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the endMFW #4 OPs: 2018 £866.89, 2019 £1322.33, 2020 £1337.07
