Hello Ladies,
Abba Fan 1972, I hope our Salter bathroom scales actually last for 15 years.
I got another free ticket to see the play Further Than The Furthest Thing at The Young Vic yesterday evening. I enjoyed this play even more second time around.I met up with a small group of men and women who also completed the Neighbourhood Voices course with me and got chatting after the play.
In the audience, not too far from me, were the actors Marianne Jean-Baptise, Zendaya and Tom Holland!2 -
@sugarbaby125 I love hearing about your socialising and savings that you make. Certainly through winter it is likely to have been cheaper to go out than stay at home. Having the time to check out what works best is definitely a money winner too. As the saying goes I need to get out more

Started going through my wardrobe. All those black and navy frumpy tops and jackets are heading for the charity shop (if they're wearable) or the bin. From now on I shall be a pink/red person.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.4

Well done Toni's Friend. You have taken a big step on your journey to looking fabulous.
I remember when my wardrobe was full of black, navy and for a change brown items of clothing. Thank goodness that I saw the error of my ways and eventually starting replacing my clothes with lots of colourful items of clothing.4 -
Hello Ladies,
I went to the Blackfriars Settlement mental health and well being discussion group on Wednesday from 11am to 12.30pm. We had a very lively and productive discussion. We then had a free lunch of freshly cooked vegetable soup with chunks of wholemeal bread. I really enjoyed the soup and bread.
The Felix Project again donated lots of chilled ready meals for us service users. I was given 5 chicken korma and basmati meals to take home, and my 2 adult children and I really enjoyed these meals.
Yesterday, I had to cancel my plan to go to an Open Mic poetry event, as I was feeling so sluggish and overtired. Today, I woke up with a dry cough and very sore throat and again feel very tired, so I have sensibly cancelled my ticket for an Open Mic variety night at the Pen Theatre for this evening.
I received my £150 warm home discount yesterday and it has made such a difference, as my energy costs are so high despite the fact that I am using less energy in every way that I can.

Morning Peeps,
Isn't it sad at how much food is still being wasted. Well done @sugarbaby125 at helping with the consuming of your own lovely meal and then being able to feed your family too. I am grateful for the access to cheaper food leftovers and have I no shame in making use of this. It is wrong to be wasteful.
I have been brave and some of my preloved CS purchased T shirts are finally and slowly making their way out of the wardrobe and recycled into rags for DH's workshop/shed. This is due to me making things last as long as I can, probably hanging on too long as I need this change to happen
@Toni'sfriend well done you on finding your colour. That is really uplifting you as you can tell in your communications.

Hope you feel better soon, Sugarbaby. You certainly live a very busy and fulfilling life.
Thanks, Scatters. I hate waste of food too. We really waste very, very little.
So, I've decided to try to brighten up the house. I bought some new cushions and glass vases for the living room. It's looking quite cosy now when I light the candles at night. Unfortunately this is only the tip of the iceberg. So much needs done and at the moment I'm not even up to deep cleaning it. Himself does try to help but he's not really that domesticated. Never mind we'll get there in the end.
I'm going to try to get out for a little while tomorrow. I haven't been anywhere apart from hospital appointments since the beginning of the year.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.4 -
