Toni's Friend, your cousin is a very caring person and is really looking out for you
Glad to hear that all of your personal fabbing is really lifting your mood5 -
Good morning lovely ladies.Great list Toni......a nice mix of pampering and fun outings. Maybe a pedicure to get your tootsies sandal ready.A trip to the chiropodist and an eye test on my to do list too.Dentist again next week, to get my new crown fitted. Then it will be time to start the prep work for my implants. Thankfully, just 5 more chiro treatments needed. Will be so glad when I've finished but at least I'm down to weekly now instead of twice a week. 2 a week was punishing, leaving very little recovery time between treatments. But it was worth it. And once I'm done then hopefully it will just be a maintenance programme.I am now tentatively exercising again, mainly physio stretches, tai chi and daily walks. Nothing too taxing just yet. Feels like a long road ahead but I just remind myself of the tortoise and the hare.At least summer is on its way and the sun can work it's magic.Have a great weekend. Keeeep fabbing. ❤️5

My nails are looking very shiny. I guess that might be what the top coat does.
Helensbiggestfan - You must be a mind reader. Exactly what I was thinking. Let's get those feet ready for summer. They're in a shocking state just now.
So, this may surprise you. I don't own a dress (or skirt for that matter!). I've been living in trousers for years but I always envy those ladies who look lovely in their floaty summer dresses. Come the summer Himself has said that he will buy me a pretty dress and sandals and pay for my three girl cousins and I to go for lunch in our favourite restaurant. Now, you can't get a bigger incentive than that to keep of fabbing, can you?Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.6 -

@Toni'sfriend wow a dress and meal out what a fab idea. I have not too long ago found dresses that suit my style (and body) at sea salt. They are mainly cotton too and some are lined. I am fortunate that I live nearby a local store as I am tactile when it comes to material. Enjoy window shopping for the now and finding the new you.

What lovely pics of your beautiful great-grandchildren Sugarbaby 🥰 Glad you were finally able to spend some quality time with your family in Andover 😊
On Thursday our eldest dog (aged eleven) was diagnosed with diabetes 😪 He's fine with his insulin injections, thankfully, and it's not the dreaded kidney disease I'd feared - but it's another thing going wrong that we could have done without right now.
To take our minds off all the horrid stuff, we spent a sunny Mother's Day doing some garden fabbing - staring to tackle the large area closest to our front door (our half acre main garden is primarily to the side of our home, so is visible from the door). We want to finally get this part of the garden looking attractive for when we market the place in the next couple of months.
The previous owners had 'laid' some ugly paving there which looked awful and was very uneven/dangerous. I removed this in 2021 utilising the pavers for paths through the rose beds we've created elsewhere in the garden. Since then - as we'd planned building an extension there which isn't going to happen now we're hoping to move - the area has become a dumping ground which isn't a great first impression!
In order to do a cheap but fab makeover, we're going to level it off (it's raised about 30cm above the path at one end) and membrane/gravel the lot. Coupled with the large planters and established climbers that we put in five years ago, it should make a pretty area to sit as it's a south-facing sun trap 😁
Back to rain today so trying to get some indoor house fabbing done instead! I need to get more flowers/bulbs for inside as these are vital right now for lifting our mood. Here's a few pics of those we currently have dotted about the place....4
