  • #32 reporting in for 2023 year end. I have just scraped through on £12k which will go towards my deposit for property purchase.

Due to property purchase and a few sizeable commitments in 2024/2025 I would like to alter my target for 2024 to a smaller £5,000.

    Thanks,
If you believe you can, you will. If you believe you can't, you won't.

    Secured/Unsecured loans x 1
    Credit Cards x 8 (total limit £55,050)
Creation FS Retail Account x 1
    Creation Credit Sale 0% x 1 = £112.50pm x 20 mths
    0% Overdraft x 1 (£0 / £250)
    Mortgage Outstanding - £137,707.00 (Payment 13/360)
    Total Debt = £7,400 (0%APR) @ £100pm - Stoozing

Hi @MrFrugalFever. Not sure if you know the latest but enthusiasticsaver and I have picked up from simplyfading, except that neither of us can see any of the forms submitted - so basically, none of your updates are in the spreadsheet for the year. If you want to post them here, we can enter them to the spreadsheet. We have started a Save £12k in 2024 for your target for next year on a new thread (and numbers don't normally get carried forward)
    Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)
OS Grocery Challenge in 2025 I am at £1286.68/£3000 or 42.89% of my annual spend so far
I also Reverse Meal Plan on that thread and grow much of our own premium price fruit and veg, joining in on the Grow your own thread

    #7 reporting -£326 for December.

Minus figure because it covered the final payments for our wedding. Will hopefully mean I can get off to a good start in 2024!

Can you please put me down for -£1,429 for December. Not the best end to the year but it is what it is.

My final update of 2023 - saved £324.29 in December, making a total for the year of £7,940.55.

Short of my £12k target because I got away from myself a bit with holidays and shopping.

Well done to all who took part, and thanks to simplyfading, enthusiasticsaver and Suffolklass for looking after us.

    See you in 2024!

@gd55 we have a slight mis-match on final figures if you want to check out the spreadsheet (link is 4 posts above this one) and make a correction.
