Just moved £500 over to savings so £9000 saved so far in 2023.  Looking promising to meet the £12k target for the year.

#14 declaring £1,914.03 for this month

I have fixed accounts ending in August, so hoping savings rates nudge up again given the interest rate increase. Difficult to decide how and when to fix, but not a bad problem to have

Still on target for the year, now we're half way through! Where does the time go?!

#11 declaring £1,325 for June.  Quite happy with that and hope to continue, if not better, this amount for the rest of the year.

#8 reporting in having transferred my savings for July as DH and I both got our pensions today.  £700 moved into joint savings and £100 into personal savings so a total of £800 making a total saved so far of £9800.

Hope you are doing ok @slowlyfading.  Not heard from you in ages but I follow your blog and you still seem to be posting there.  Hope life is getting easier.

I am finally being paid for the extra work that I did January - April.
All placed into the easy access whilst I ponder and watch the interest rates.

Number 50. A low total this month of just £291.87 (and a grocery shopping overspend against my aimed for average of £250, by over £100). Not impressed with myself!
      Save £12k in 2025 #2 I saved £14,660.97 of £6000 or 244.35% of my target. The 2026 Save £12k in 2026 thread is here
OS Grocery Challenge in 2025 I finished the year at £2880.99/£3000 or 96.03% of my annual spend so I am sticking with a £3000 annual budget for 2026

Total for  June £-2933.90 - paid out a lot for the garden to be landscaped.

I'd normally separate out savings for a big thing like this but the start of the year was a bit chaotic so I didn't get a chance, but the end result is the same.
