I don’t know what number I am but I would like to declare £590 saved this month which I have shared between my saving accounts and help to buy ISA.

I may not do as well next month as it is my sons birthday and we are off on a short break in half term.
@Pinkdaisy88 there is a Pinkdaisy in the totals so far spreadsheet but without "88" - you may have omitted it when you said what your forum name is, when you registered for the challenge, or it might be a different one

Big push on overtime this month next and then it will ease off.

This month's has all gone in our holiday pot, but it's still savings, as without savings we wouldn't be going on holiday! That pot is pretty much covered now, so can crack on with DIY/Reno savings for the rest of the year now.

P.s I know my signature is very out of date, but I can't edit it yet (signature option is not on profile) thinks it's because I have not posted enough on the new forums.
Total savings 2018- £7450 (includes Lisa bonus)
    2019:
    Regular Saver: £0.00
    LISA: £0.00
  • £1781.08 for January for me. A bit of a cheat month for me, because some of that is birthday present, but fairly pleased with it.
Start mortgage date: August 2022; Start mortgage amount: £240,999; Original mortgage free date: August 2056
    Current mortgage amount: £233.529.75
Start student loan 2012: £29,750; current student loan: £11.400.50; OP offset fund: £750
  • @Suffolk_lass yes that must be me, how do I update the Google document. Sorry I feel so stupid.
  • Hi, there is nothing where the update form should be, so not sure how to update.

I have seen some people posting their update in messages, is that what we are doing for now?

If it is can I please log £110 for January, I am number 10. Not the start I wanted but feeling hopeful for the rest of the year.

The submission form link is not yet available, I'm sure it will be available once slowlyfading has had a chance to do that! So people will need to submit a form once the link is available, even if they do post here (including myself!)

    #7 declaring £1,906 for January.

Majority of that was a top-up to my S&S ISA, last S&S ISA top-up was back in June 2022 and both were to buy more units in S&P 500 index ETF. :)

Will be submitting a form once the link is available, no rush or panic here!

  • #6 reporting £392.76 for January.  Thought it would be more but was a pretty expensive month with unexpected car repairs. Let's hope February is better.

Hi. Just found this thread and I'd like to join please and aim to save £12,000. I'm a newbie so not sure if I need to do anything else to join. Please let me know if I do. So far I've saved £1,000 this January, split as follows: £550 cash LISA, £300 First Direct fixed 1 year savings at 7% and £150 NatWest savings at 5%. Thanks.
