candiii said:@cheerfulness4 @jennystarpepper @Brambling Thank you all. I usually lose big in the first week (mainly water) and the fact I've got so much to lose! Started at 301.3lbs, current weight 288.7lbs, so still got a long way to go to get to 224... but I've made a start (again 😂) and that's what counts. The motivation is there this time so hopefully I stick to it til the end!Good luck to all taking part 😊
Things that are motivating me... rude GP, BMI police consultant, they made me angry!
I still have about 40 lb to go before I am just overweight.
Best thing, I don't have to get stressed getting weighted at a club and paying for it... I got a SW flyer through the door today... LOL, too polite to say what I thought.MFW - 01.10.21 £63761 01.10.22 £50962 01.10.23 £39979 01.10.24 £27815. 01.01.25. £17538

Wow some amazing losses, I am starting today, have been for a short walk. and done a 'get fit with Rick' will attempt to do some bedtime yoga later. Am back to calorie deficit as I find it less restrictive then 'groups'.'You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose' - Dr Suess

Hello, may I join in please @Brambling? I have around 1.5 stone to lose altogether, aiming for 14lbs this quarter. I've put on a stone in the last few months, mainly due to constantly being ill with coughs, tonsillitis, norovirus and cracked ribs. And eating too much while feeling sorry for myself! I'm currently getting over tonsillitis, again. Feels neverending! 🤧😷🙄
My plan is calorie counting, daily lunchtime 3 mile walk (12000 daily steps target) and daily yoga for flexibility and mental health. When I'm feeling more perky, I'll restart the C25K and a couple of HIIT workouts per week for strength and fitness.
I'm hoping being on here will help keep me focussed and motivated. I will aim to lose 1-2lbs per week, but I am short so it does take longer.4 -
Welcome Pixie_Cosmo I think you're allowed to feel sorry for yourself 😬 I won't complain that my lurgy which is just disappearing after a month took my appetite
Van_Girl I think everybody is allowed some leeway after Christmas with all the goodies left over, I miss going into the office as we had a 'magic' kitchen table where any food put on it would disappear so all left over 'naughties' could be left thereLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin6 -
