i don't plan to record it this quarter but I was happy to weigh this morning and find I have lost my Christmas 2.5lb gain 😁 I just need to stay on track 🤞

Happy New Year everyone. I'd like to say I've started well but, having completely lost track of days, I forgot to weigh myself on Monday and have been coping with back to work stress by ploughing through leftover Christmas goodies.
I'll weigh on Monday to get my starting point and try to get things under control again.
Best of luck everyone xx4 -

Hi Brambling and co.
Happy New Year! I'm back in this quarter - completely took my eye off the ball last year and then promptly buried my head in the sand too.
I'll set an arbitrary target of 10kg. I haven't got a clue what I currently weigh (batteries for the scales are coming today - that's step 1) so that'll do.
Good Luck everyone.4 -
Just went for my first run in AGES this morning (it all went out the window last year!), so even if I don't lose any weight this week I can be proud that I did that. Going again on Sunday.
Porridge for breakfast and have a protein "shake" brewing (waiting for powder to dissolve- it's one of those clear whey ones rather than milkshake-type ones). Oats and protein- also a good start- now to avoid the treats!!!!Jan Grocery Challenge 2023: £181.18/£400

welcome back LilacPotato
I think most of us lost the plot last challenge!
Well done ej22 that's a great start
I'm impressed at the running Clutterbug I'm build for comfort not for speed so I was more of a walker even before my joints started complainingLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin3 -
Good morning my weight loss buddies - I’m happy to report a 3lb loss this week (!) and although not a huge loss I definitely feel much less bloated and glad to be going down. Reckon a lot of that is just stopping the festive gluttony and getting back to normality. I have also been sleeping well which is I think down to cutting out the alcohol so I am going to stick with a Dry January. I used to run but started to get niggles with my knees so another walker here, I have been out walking most days even though it is very cold, we still have snow and ice underfoot but as long as you are wrapped up well its quite invigorating. I sometimes have to force myself out the door but once I’m walking, I really enjoy the fresh air and outdoors.
I am going to weigh in every Saturday so onwards and downwards into next week and hopefully we can all keep up the support and momentum - good luck everyone.
