@Brie, I had seen Mr Brie is unwell and if you can get a little comfort from something nice to eat then I'm all for it.

Hi everyone, it's great reading back on all the successes and the temptation hurdles being faced 😀 So it's a sts for me this week, and a bit of a roller coaster to be honest.
I was in Paris Tues to Fri last week and had to face the temptation of lovely hotel breakfasts. Then the temptations of 3 nights of delightful restaurant dinners with free drinks. In addition, buffet lunch was laid on too - 😲 😱 I feel like I have been tortured by many temptations and succumbed to many.
However travelling home Fri evening I didn't feel too good so then spent the weekend in bed with some weird, horrible lurggie type thing. Still don't feel good today but I did weigh in this morning and I'm just the same as I was on the 14th. No surprise as apart from hot drinks I haven't eaten anything since Fri breakfast.
Good luck my weight loss buddies !7 -
Checked weight yesterday , 84.8kg, 1.6kg loss from the first week, I’m really pleased 🙂But I need to be careful. Protein shakes are quite filling, but sometimes is nice to eat “normal” food and it’s easy to overload.4

Food prices have gone up again I noticed! Getting the balance between financial budget and calorie budget is not easy at the moment is it?
Amara well done on your first WI you will see i have added you with 1.5kg you will need to carry over the 0.1 to next week as I only work in increments of 1 or 1/2 units
TornErse I hope you have recovered I suppose if you have to be ill after a indulgence few days in Paris is the right time
Jenny it's always good to aim for something although with me it tends not to work
Brie - I hope all is ok
Pixie hopefully the cough is now gone, mine took over a month to shift
SBunny all you can do in challenging situations is eat healthily when you can and otherwise make as healthiest choices as you can, dieting away from home and out of control can't be easy
Lovely to see so many halos on the chartpersonally i'm hoping the weather will get warmer so i will feel less incline to go into hibernating mode and eat
Have a good week

Hello
Well done everyone.
Weighday STS please Brambling.
Mildly irritating I didn’t loose any of the weight I gained last week. I managed a few days with carbs at just one meal not both and I’m sure my portions were smaller overall. Movement and exercise was similar to last week.
This weeks focus is on nourishment. I’ve planned lots of homemade soup type meals. I’ll get my mat out for gentle stretching exercise and maybe a couple of walks out in nature if I’m up to that. I’m reducing carb intake right down this week to get over the cravings and back to calm. From past experience I know I won’t be up for much exercising as I switch from carb energy to fat energy. Hopefully that’ll see downward movement next week as I’m really not wanting to get the food scales out and start logging again.Old Style Weight Loss Challenge 2025
