Reporting that this week I’m the same as last week - no change at all, however as I’ve been away staying in a hotel for 4 nights I’m taking it as a win!Thank you for running this thread, the accountability and support along the way is so helpful6

I am down to 94,5 from 103 at the beginning of the year.
Very happy with the result.8 -
STS Please Brambling.
I have not been 'good' gin, biscuits, chocolate and a few other treats have been enjoyed, so STS is welcome.
I have flights booked for April so an incentive to get a few more lb off.
Have a good week everyone, the 40+ days (well feels like it) of January are nearly over.

Managed to gain 2kg
(well it was 4, managed to bring it down 2)
the tablets I’m on increase your appetite and I’m really struggling not to binge eat.
Considered not taking the tablets anymore, (mild dose anti-depressant due to our current situation) but sure how wise that is, when I next speak to my GP to renew the prescription I will ask what they think.
well done all, reading through others does motivate me, I am going to try and get on our treadmill more regularly, see if that helpsWidowed November 2024

One thing I have found helps me is spicy food... more taste... less wanting !!!!!!. Onions, mushrooms, peppers.... and so on
More protein, lower card veg's and 3 whole fruits a day.
I am not perfect.... lol, but medication. really upsets me.MFW - 01.10.21 £63761 01.10.22 £50962 01.10.23 £39979 01.10.24 £27815. 01.01.25. £17538

Well done Eskarina and Jings 👏👏
Lanky I think one to discuss with your GP 🙂 as I understand some such meds need stopping gradually. would the weather allow you to walk as the fresh air and vit D may also helpLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin8 -
Hi
Well done everyone.
Weigday minus -5lb please Brambling.
The first couple of days rather low carb were quite the challenge, not as bad as the first time but still worse than I expected. I started quite spontaneously so hadn’t prepared properly. Exercise and movement was lacking as I didn’t feel upto it the first 3 days then overdid it with a 4.6 mile urban hike and too many flights of stairs and I’m still aching all over lol. This week I’ll continue to focus on nourishment. Eating lots of different cooked vegetables, daily stretching and I will get out to enjoy some nature walks. I’m contemplating setting up the rebounder as I enjoy it even if I can only manage 20 seconds a time.Old Style Weight Loss Challenge 2025
