Morning All
Has been a good week although lacking on the exercise front as it's been too cold to move from under my blanket after braving the arctic commute home from work each day, but work has kept me busy and helped get my steps up so happy with my loss -4lb. Hoping I can get back to regular exercise although today I must brave the loft 😬'You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose' - Dr Suess

Hi all,
Not been too bad a week, I've even managed some workouts! 0.5kg off this week Brambling. Everyone is doing so well!

Oh dear! Actually put ON a lb! I noticed yesterday when I wore a winter dress for the first time since last year with boots it was tight and a bit uncomfortable, especially around the bust area, which is where I usually put weight on (as well as my tummy). I need to lose a stone, but would settle for 10 lbs. I know it doesn’t seem much compared to some, but I would feel so much better in my clothes if I did manage to lose 10 lbs. I don’t wear fitted clothes, so tend to buy size 16 shift/loose A-line type dresses - sleeveless in summer and 3/4 sleeves woollen in winter. A size 16 usually fits fine and hangs loose but is now getting tighter. I wear a size 12 on the bottom, so if I bought a bigger size dress it would be too big on the hip area. I’m not particularly over-eating so maybe need to cut back on the wine and walk a bit more when the weather gets a bit better.Good luck everyone on your journey.Free4

Reporting a loss of 0.5 kg a day early as I’m away from today until Thursday with no access to scales, a kitchen or easy exercise opportunities. I totally agree that trying to loose weight at this time of year is so hard and personally I’ve been staying away from home for a few days every week this year which has been very challenging! Very unusual and things will calm down soon and I’m hopeful the scales will reflect that 😂

1lb loss this week! After last week being very busy, I'm hoping to start yoga and daily walks again. The everlasting cough / cold seems to be improving as well :-)6

1 lbs loss again for me
Was an ok week but I'm feeling very snacky atm. Trying to break my meals up into regular smaller ones, to avoid the need to snack
Food prices have gone up again I noticed! Getting the balance between financial budget and calorie budget is not easy at the moment is it?£12k in 25 #14 £10,474.10/£18k 24 #14 £15,653.11/£18k 23 #14 £17,195.80/£18k 22 #20 £23,024.86/£23k5 -
1 lb off for me please Brambling.
Well done to anyone who has braved getting weighed. I really do not like this cold weather, Mr pepper has lasted 2 weeks and asked me to book flights to get away, it is an incentive to stay on track.
@Van_Girl, the need to snack is real, I'm usually ok... but have decided to cut out alcohol for a while (not dry Jan) just to be a bit healthier and it's making me want to nibble. As for food prices, even the cheaper shops such as Heron are getting stupidly pricy.
Have a good week everyone, Spring can't come soon enough.
