@jennystarpepper - those tactics don't work well for much of what I have I'm afraid! It's mostly gifts to me so I'm not giving them away. I've frozen some mince pies and slices of a cake I was given but things like boxes of chocs are tricky. Once they are open, and there's just me eating them, they just seem to disappear...Grocery Challenge

@Brambling I'd like to report a 1lb loss! I was finally brave enough to step on the scales this morning, and I've lost- not a lot, but it's a start.Havent been eating amazing due to Xmas leftovers and then birthday leftovers, but that's done now, so time to refocus on food. I’m having problems focusing too Amara.
Agree it’s not the best time to be dieting. That got me thinking as to when the best time for me is which seems to be never lol, I’ve always got something or other going on. Summer is the worst for sure and Winter is too cold. I think I do best in Spring.Weighday plus +1.5lb for me Brambling please.I’m in reverse! Not quite sure what that’s about as I’ve eaten very similarly to last week only less chocolate and no biscuits at all. And I met my step goals 5 out of 7 days which is a big improvement on the zero of the last month or so. Exercise intensity goal for the week met too.This week I’ll focus on portion size and will consider reducing carbs and have at one meal and not both meals and see how that goes, hopefully forwards.Old Style Weight Loss Challenge 2025

Hello All! 4 days in to diet and beginning to find equilibrium, I think. After the shock of post Christmas weigh-in (bad… really bad!) we decided to follow F@st 800 as it’s worked for us in the past. However this time we’re doing the ‘kickstart’ 800 cals a day for 2 weeks… wish us luck pl!
