I will get a grip eventually, hopefully before I'm too fat to fit through the front door, but my head's definitely not in the right place at the moment.

I forgot to weigh Mon/Tues and now I'm staying with DP who has no scales, so I'm missing this week. Hopefully that will mean a bigger improvement will be seen on Monday!

Lost 1.5 lbs this week, thought l done better as had covid and no appetite 😂

I haven't posted since the 16th Jan.

It took quite a while for me to settle into a routine after the initial enthusiasm of the first few days of trying to eat less, so the loss was a bit up and down.

Now, I'm finding I'm hungry and I eat more at lunchtime than in the evening, so lunch is usually soup, leftovers or eggs. I try to stay away from bread but not always successfully.
Dinner has been a variety of stir-fries, a small amount of meat/fish plus loads of vegetables. I've discovered for good or bad (depending on your point of view) ready prepared stir-fry sachets, they're not expensive in money or calories so I use half a packet at a time. The fat I use is coconut plus water if needed.

So far I've had a weight loss of 4lb - it's a start, not brilliant, but provided it doesn't go in the opposite direction, I'll settle for that at the moment. 

I'm not sure if I mentioned it but DH broke his neck at the beginning of last Nov. Fortunately he's slowly on the mend but it will never be as strong as before, however, I now know what 'stress eating' is all about.

Zafiro well done on doing losing weight under a lot of stress.  My mum broke her neck in 3 places at 86 and it was a long  recovery time, hopefully things are a little easier for the both of you

Well done Pixie I know it's disappointing when the scales are mean to us but remember a pound a week is 3.5 stone a year 🙂
