Morning, weekends here again! This weeks list is similar to last weeks, overall a chilled weekend ahead:

    • Buy Mothers Day gift
    • Food shop
    • Gut my bag for work
    • Clean bathroom
    • Clean bedrooms
    • Change my bedding
    • Figure out what bulbs I need for conservatory lights and get them
    • Tidy the garden a bit
    • Watch football
    • Clean glass on stair bannisters
    • Make £10 from somewhere
    • Belated birthday gift for bil
I think the guy is coming this week to turf my back garden so I need to make sure the path round the side is clear for him and a few random bits in the garden need to go away / bin. I've done 1 prolific survey already so am £1.83 on my way towards the tenner :)

Another week gone, my normal weekend routine is planned.
This week has been a funny one, work has been busy but good, football on Wednesday night was amazing, my brother gave me his ticket as he is abroad this week so I was very lucky to witness a truly bonkers game. Also on Wednesday turfing my garden was completed, I absolutely love it already and am now thinking about having the front garden sorted too.

I received the new council tax bill today, no surprise that it has gone up the maximum allowed, bringing it to £193 a month now  :o Absolutely shocking considering the state of our local council, one of the worst performing in the country. It's now only just under £100 less than my mortgage payment :(

Up early today as I did an online food order and it is coming between 8:20 - 9:20 this morning I decided to do it online so I might stop buying so much junk that tempts me in the shop. It also meant I could stock up on cat food and cat litter, washing powder etc without having to lug it all far.

I was intending on a decent walk after that but it is chucking it down, yet again, this morning. So instead I have stripped my bed, it is in the machine, folded up some washing from yesterday, and am planning what I need to do today. I must go and get a card and chocs for a colleague, see Mum, plan food for the week ahead. My plan for shifting weight has not materialised, I think I am too much all or nothing, and as soon as it fails I give up. So as my holiday is getting closer and the scales are going in the wrong direction I'm trying a new approach. I will have targets I have to meet every day but they won't be as full on as before. My daily musts are:

    • Take vitamins (iron, vitamin D, magnesium, probiotic)
    • 2 litres of water
    • 10,000 steps
    • 5 x planks (30 seconds each for the first week then 1 minute each from next week)
    • Minimal sugar
    • 1500 calories
    • Aiming for 7-8 hours sleep a night
The steps is a minimum and I want to be aiming nearer 20,000 a day once this biblical flooding stops.

I went down the beach and the rain stopped soon after, I did 10 miles and it was beautiful down there. Came home and Mum popped round for a coffee and to see the garden. Another load of washing is on the line, the back doors are wide open and the sun is shining, all is good :)

Weekends here again, this is a pretty chilled one I only have 3.5 days at work this week then we break up for two weeks :)

This morning I have washed the towels, they have dried on the line and are folded back in the bathroom. Another load of washing is about to go in. I've popped to a local town to mooch around the market, bought a few plants for the garden, two leaving gifts for people at work and a little thank you gift for each of my team.

No Premier league football today but will still keep an eye on the telly, but generally this weekend will be spent pottering.

And the holidays are here :):)

Finished work at lunchtime yesterday then went to the pub with workmates for a couple of hours. Two weeks off now with very little planned so far which feels lovely. Today will be a housework day, might see Mum for a bit, some food shopping etc. I need to check the banking as its almost the end of the month too.
