That’s a good price. Can’t complain about that.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

Another weekend, but at least we've had payday before this one. This month I'm trying to be a bit better with my spends, too many needless trips to the local shop last month. Tonight I was almost ready to order a pizza, I'd got it in my basket and was entering my card details when I made myself stop. I had pasta in the cupboard, I had mushrooms, onion in the fridge and some sweetcorn in the freezer, a bit of grated cheese on top and it was just as quick and easy as a pizza but £15 cheaper
Today I did meet a friend for brunch so parking and food was £16 and then I needed some milk and bread (£3.50) but that's my only spends so far this month.
Various money bits have been moved around the pots as needed, my new account is almost ready, in fact I might go and see if I can move the money into it now, then the £200 should be here in 7 daysMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Money was moved into the new account last night so hopefully next weekend I should see my £200
Ds went off to get the coach to Burnley at 4am this morning so I have the house to myself all day, I have already gutted his room of rubbish and washing - 2 bin bags to go to the tip later and at least 3 loads of washing. My bed has been made, the washing machine and dishwasher are already on and I'm going to enjoy my first coffee of the day and have half an hour mooching on here. Other things for today include:- Trip to the tip
- Food shop
- Gut my bag for work
- Clean bathroom
- Clean bedrooms
- Remake ds bed (did mine yesterday)
- Figure out what bulbs I need for conservatory lights and get them
- Order Vax solution
- Watch football
- Clean glass on stair bannisters
- Make £10 from somewhere

Just a heads up @benbenandme but the cheapest place I found for Vax solution was Argos - they were half the price of the bit river company! That was about a month ago so worth having a look on line to check. I ordered on line and then picked up later that day when I went to Sainsbury to do a bit of shopping!1

Thankyou Joedenise, the big river company or B&Q are my usual go to places so will pop over to the Argos website right now, thank you! xMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Done, £10 in Argos, £13 in B&Q and the big river company, thank you so much!! I could have collected it today but that would have meant going to Sainsburys in town, and then I know I'd end up spending more money in other shops. Instead its coming to my local one tomorrow which is fine as I won't be needing it today anyway.
I have had a very productive couple of hours, I've cleaned the bathroom, cleaned both bedrooms, second load of washing is in the machine, I've now sorted the vax solution so can cross that one off the list and have made £1.71 from a matched bet and 41p from Prolific. Upstairs just needs a thorough hoover through and mop the bathroom floor. I even cleaned ds windows while I was in there.
A 5 minute break on here then I'm off to the tip and to do the food shop. I might try and sort the lightbulbs too while I'm out. Lightbulb shopping has become one of my pet hates. Back in the day it was 40, 60 or 100, screw in or bayonet, job done. Now it's far too confusingAnd realising I sound like my Nan I'm off
