Welcome Home @bubbs. Nothing like your own bed with clean sheets! 😁 Except perhaps ice cream! 🤣
Shame yours isn't ready @joedenise. At least you'll be warm in the spare. 👍
Garlic broccoli sounds delicious @annabanana82. The more Speed the better. I'm just about to add spring onions and baby sweetcorn to my chilli from the freezer.
Have a good time at your event @Coxy11. I'm sure you'll carry it off. Although plenty do make an ar*e of themselves there! 🤣
No, not going to WI @bubbs but I'm sticking with 'good when I can'. Tomorrow I'm out with DD1 so lunch will be a bit of an unknown. 🤔1 -
Happy being home to you bubbs
Ideas for speed I can have without chopping & peeling.

@beanielou - frozen veg is already chopped and most are Speed. Same for frozen fruit. It's very difficult to have fresh veg without chopping unfortunately - the easy ones are things like berries which are very expensive and usually pretty tasteless!
For fresh veg the only things I can think of are cherry tomatoes, mixed leaves and small button mushrooms.0 -
What about vacuum packed beetroot @beanielou? Could you cut open the pack? 🤔
Don't even think about opening a jar. I have to get DH open mine which was a problem when he broke his wrist. ☹️0 -
Thanks Denise & maman.
I certainly couldent open a jar at the moment.EEk.
Do have vaccum packed beetroot which I had forgotton about.
Too early for fresh local strawberries sadly, which is the only time I buy them.

Home scale weigh in this week and I have lost 1.5lbs and middle son a massive 4 and a quarter pounds, I know he has loads more to lose than me and 1.5lbs is still very decent but I can't help but feel a little second best about it.
I've been voiceless all day, it happens when I try to push things a bit too much and is a layover from when I had Covid last year, I've had the pee taken out of me all day by the boys and even my boss but then I do sound a bit like a strangled mouse. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0
