Morning all. Hope everyone is well.

    Congratulations on everyone’s losses.

@beanielou hope you feel better soon after your fall. @bubbs hope your Mom is testing negative
To the person whose sister isn’t well at the moment - hope things improve for her very soon (apologies, I lose track of who is who sometimes).

Things are a bit disrupted today, as we are having a new fridge freezer delivered today, so I have had to ask my Mom to take my frozen stuff temporarily, as it would have been all defrosted, by the time it would be all up and running. Luckily, I have a mini fridge I can keep food in temporarily.

Wi is big until tomorrow, but I have to eat a couple of random things when emptying the freezer.

Work is very busy at the moment. *sigh*

Speak to you all soon. xx

I have the same 'sigh' about work @Abbafan1972 it's never ending.  Enjoy your lunch out @joedenise

Slept really well last night, nothing like your own bed, and feel ready to take on the world this morning!  Food will be so much better for the rest of the week although I'm out for dinner tonight. Still waiting to hear where we're going so can't have a sneaky peak at menus  😁

    Today's food:
B - f/f Greek yoghurt, mango and last of the raspberries
L - baked potato with chilli (now needs using up!)
    D - TBC

    Have a good day all.

I've been MIA this past week but been keeping on plan. 0.5lb loss for me this morning. A bit miffed it wasn't more but a loss is a loss! I'm also factoring in some TOTM bloatyness and hopefully there'll be a bit more off next week. Just 3.5lbs until my next shiny though so trying to focus on that.

Well done my fellow losers on the scales this week and beanie hope you are ok after your fall

Have a good day everyone xx

    Hi all,

Hope your DMum is doing okay @Jellybaby x

Hope the move back home goes smoothly @bubbs. Lovely that you can have ice cream again. I live vicariously through those photos! Hope DMum is doing okay and that DSis is getting some help. Also hugs to your DDad x

Great loss @beanielou but OMG to the fall. I do hope you’re okay and that your hand is healing, sounds awful.

Hope the bed filling goes smoothly @joedenise – nothing worse than a cold bed!

Well done on the 0.5lb loss @cherry_22 – it all counts 😊

I am in the office today but am leaving around 2.30pm to go to the HoP for an event!! Very excited as have never been inside, so will be interesting to see the Churchill Room 😊 Hope I don’t make an a**e of myself.

DD has gone into her office today for the last time (Brighton to Maidstone). Officially being made redundant in 2 weeks. She had a panic attack whilst driving on the M23 and had to pull over to calm herself. She’s putting on a brave face with colleagues but is obviously very stressed about it all. May see her tonight as she may be staying over. Think it would be for the best, just so I can feed her if nothing else!

Dinner is a Greek chicken traybake from Fast Feast. New recipe with feta and olives so some syns involved.

    Have a good day everyone,

    Coxy

It's a loss @cherry_22 and they all count! 👏👏👏I think you're right though and water retention might be a problem.

At least your DD had the sense to pull over until she felt better @Coxy11. You'll enjoy cosseting her tonight.

You seem a bit low on Speed today @annabanana82. I'm only going on some mushrooms, tomatoes and a few blueberries. I add Speed to my sausage casserole with onions and mushrooms and yesterday I chopped up some baby sweetcorn or sometimes diced carrot or BNS. Apologies if I've missed anything.

We were planning to go to football tonight but as it's on tv we're going to stay in the warm. So that's a Crunchie worth of syns saved! 🤣

It's been a good week. I'm under by 22.5 syns so plenty of leeway for guesswork.

    Today's EE plan -
B- HEB toast, eggs (P), beans (F), HEA milk for drinks
L- JP (F), tuna (P), spring onions, tomatoes, beetroot (S)
    D- veggie chilli (P, S), brown rice (F), cottage cheese (P)
    Syns - LTL mayo 1

Just got back and having a nice cup of tea!  Really needed as not had anything to drink since lunchtime.

Still no water bed for tonight!  We did refill it but the "bladder" isn't sitting properly so need to empty it and refill again!  Can't do it until tomorrow afternoon as need a new pump to remove the water as the old one decided to pack up - new pump arriving courtesy of Mr Amazon!  We're going to sleep in the spare bedroom tonight - think we should have done that a few days ago rather than trying to cope with the rapidly cooling water bed!

We ended up in Weatherspoons for lunch so I had a jacket potato, beans and salad and a cup of tea - couldn't have a drink as I was driving but may well have one or two tonight!

Glad you're back home safe and sound @bubbs.  Bet you'll be having ice cream tonight!

Enjoy the football @maman - don't blame you staying in to watch it rather than going out in the cold!

  • @maman you're right, it's a bit low on speed, I've added some carrot and roasting some garlic broccoli to go with it.

I've got some strawberries that need using so will have them for afters
