Thanks for sharing @SingleSue and sending you only positive vibes as you continue on your own WL journey. That appears to be a thing where someone loses a lot of weight and the partner gets jealous. I know from reading the SW mag that relationship breakdowns feature a lot
I weighed in with a 0.5lb loss this week. Happy with that as TOTM is here and I was poorly for a whole day so barely ate. The eyebrow salon was queuing out the door, so I'll try again later when I go back into town for the cinema. I'm off for a haircut first though. Bumped into an ex-friend (one of the group that were nasty back in September). She couldn't get away quick enough. Suits me!
There's a Spoons in Faversham @joedenise - expect I'm too late for her to see this!
Washing is on and I'm going to have a quick scoot round with the duster and hoover upstairs and put some dry washing away before going out. Would like to have a quiet evening with some sewing if possible.
Have a good day all,

I'm back home and pleased to say I found the spice shop and got the spices I wanted. So much cheaper than the little jars from the SM!
You're right @Coxy11 I didn't see your reply until I got home! We found the Spoons OK although in the end didn't eat there just had a coffee around 11.30ish. Decided to come home and have something to eat so probably saved a few syns as means I didn't have a drink! Just had a couple of slices of toast and marmalade! Really enjoyed it too.
Well done on your loss @Coxy11, good when it's TOTM! Glad I don't have to put up with that any more!!!

Well done on your loss @Coxy11.👏👏👏 Hopefully you'll have an even better one next week as you probably have water retention.
I think you're right to tweak SW to suit your needs @SingleSue. We probably all do to an extent. I think it's the only way to make the healthy eating plan a long term thing.rather than a quick fix. It has to be sustainable.

I had to start a new post as couldn't get out of bold type. 🤔
A good mse and SW trip this morning @joedenise as you saved on the spices, saved money by not eating out and saved syns! 👍
I'm doing some batch cooking this afternoon. I've got a veggie chilli in the SC. I've made a batch of pilau rice and plan to do the same with brown rice and then a swede and carrot mash.
Today's EE plan -
B- HEB toast, HEA1 milk for drinks, scrambled eggs
L- JP (F), cottage cheese (P), spring onions, beetroot, tomatoes (S)
D- meatballs in tomato sauce (P, S), spaghetti (F), HEA2 Parmesan
Syns - weekend wine 😁0 -
Hi everyone
Its been a long day at work, so glad to be finally finished for the day! Well done on your loss Coxy, I was surprised to lose anything at my last TOTM but nature got its revenge and gave me a STS the week after 😂
Food today:
B- fruit and yoghurt (0.5), cuppas (HEA for milk)
L- heinz leek and potato soup (3.5 - thought it would be more than that!), ryvita (HEB), dairylea (HEA)
D- BGTY sausages (3) and mash with veggies and gravy (1.5)
More syns to be added no doubt, might fancy a gin and something fizzy later£1 a day for 2023 #58 £165/£3650 -
Hi all,
Glad you didn't waste the cash or the syns @joedenise!
I've had a busy day. Walked the mile and back to the hairdressers despite the misty rain - I had my hat with me and like to walk! Came home and had 2 plums and 2 satsumas as only had a hifi and some grapes at group. Managed to put away the laundry and dust all the bedrooms, but left myself enough time to go back to the threading salon. Had time to pop into B&M for some more lidded boxes for the freezer as have lost a couple to DD and DS2 taking food back to uni. The film was good but OMG to the detritus folks and their kids leave behind. Obviously someone elses job to clear up after them - bottles, wrappers, popcorn etc. just shocking.
Queued up behind a lady who bought 8, yes 8 bottles of Tequila Rose in B&M! The mind boggles......
I'm just cooking some SW chips (potatoes peeled and cut into chips then frozen in bags a few weeks ago). Will have an egg with them - absolute bliss!!
Have a good evening all
Coxy

Evening all, snap @Coxy11 I lost a wee half pound too. Was happy with that considering we’ve been eating out of the freezer all week.
I’ve had a batch cooking afternoon too @maman spag bol, chilli, and pea and ham soup. All neatly boxed up cooling on the worktop.
Took parents for their usual shopping this morning but I’ve decided to do mine separately as it’s just too stressful keeping an eye on and helping them. Will pop out tomorrow morning and have a leisurely, peaceful browse 😁😁0 -
Well done @Jellybaby
I've just snaffled some more Olio free food. A bag of broccoli, carrot and cauli, and 8 WM deli rolls. All now in the freezer.

Well done on your wee loss today @Jellybaby. 👏👏👏 I think you did really well considering you were limited to what you needed to eat up from the freezer. It'll be a great to stock up again with SW friendly food.
I just love egg and chips @Coxy11. It's my go to meal when DH is out for the evening. Unfortunately, most of his meetings have been on Zoom lately but I live in hope. Enjoy! 😋0 -

Advice if anyone can help please
Went to pick Mum up and she was upset, asked her what was wrong and she said i just don't know from one day to the next what Dad is going to be like and yesterday had a phone call from community nurse for delirium and said Dad was going to be discharged, Mum said no he is not as much as i want him home i will not be able to cope! I have my own disabilities and 24/7 i will not cope.
Ok then we will send him home for a couple of hours , see how he gets on and take him back, Mum said no that will destroy him.
She spoke to the doctor Weds when visiting opened again he said Dad's paperwork was out everywhere trying to get him a place for rehab.
Who do we speak to regarding this, does anyone know?
Classic example, today he was fine, was up and sitting on edge of the bed when we got there, was chatty and was telling us how they weigh him, they do it on the bed. Generally chatting. Then he has is tea , wolfs it down like he has not been fed for 6 months then starts 😣 not shouting like he did, but up and down, on the bed, off the bed, calling the nurses, wanting the bed up, wanting the bed down, repeat about 100 times! Mum said can't leave him till his settled , starts rattling the end of the bed, banging on the bedside table 🙄
Eventually he settles, we leave, standing at the door waiting for it to be unlocked , then he starts banging again(the DIL of the man opposite told us it was him)I said to to her tell him to stop it, as she speaks to him , Mum said i dare not look round the corner, hence getting in late.
