Hopefully your mum will have a better day tomorrow @bubbs. 🤗
Well done on resisting the Pepsi. 👍 I see what you mean about the excess fruit, I've never noticed it before. Could you take a pitta sandwich with you instead to fill you up with something more savoury? That would work on the days you're not planning on garlic bread or a burger? 🤔0 -
Hope she does maman 🤞

@bubbs The Hamper looks fabulous, I hope your friend liked it.
So I've just completed day 5 and have a few things on my mind.....
We went out for a latte this afternoon and decided to share a scone (half each)
it was a fruit scone and I had a very thin smear of butter on it and a very thin smear of jam.
I'm not sure on the syn value however I have 30 syns in my syn bank, so it should more than cover it hopefully?
As I approach my 1st weigh in (as an online member) I do not want to weigh myself
because in the past it was always my downfall.
A repeat pattern of behaviour..... If I don't loose weight I get upset and comfort eat!
Id like to weigh myself every fortnight or once a month if possible?

Didn't want to read and run @Hundredsandthousands. I think you'll be safe with your half a scone.
I really don't know if it's possible to weigh like that with an online membership. I know at group there are people who weigh and ask not to be told the outcome. Perhaps you should ask their helpline or however you get in touch with site.
I realise it will be a big thing for you but you could weigh and see if with the support of SW online and the thread it could be different this time. 🤔🤗0 -
@Hundredsandthousands - if that was all the syns you had then you would be within your daily syns - a fruit scone is 12 syns so your half would be 6; I doubt you had more than 5g of butter for a thin smear which would be 2 syns; 2 tsps of jam would be another 1. That's a total of 9 syns so within your daily allowance and well within the syns you have available.
Just carry on until your normal weigh day and weigh - you should be fine.
I don't think there's a mechanism with online membership to weigh fortnightly unfortunately although I know it can be done at RL groups (if you're of working age!) by saying that your a shift worker and only going fortnightly! Somehow I don't think that would work with online membership but as @maman says it's worth contacting the online helpline for advice.
Maybe the fact that you are posting on here will mean things can be better for you this time round.
Today's plan:
B - scrambled eggs with spinach on toast - HEB; P; S
L - seafood salad - P; S; F; 2
D - pork steak, mash, cabbage, green beans, peas - P; S; F
HEA - milk
HEB - bread
Syns - Mayo 2
Have a good day everyone.1 -
Morning everyone,
Chin up @beanielou xx Could you halve some recipes making 2 portions and freeze the leftovers - cook once, eat twice?? When I'm by myself I have a JP or egg and chips but that's only the odd occasion.
The hamper looks lovely @bubbs - where are the skinny bites from please?
@Hundredsandthousands you're probably looking at 7.5-8 syns for that half a fruit scone as M&S are 15.5 each, so well within the 30 syns you have left. I've never been an online member to not sure about logging WIs but would expect they'd need a return each week? Good luck xx
We had the easy chicken curry last night - not as good as usual as no tomato puree in the house so used some leftover salsa that was in the fridge! I didn't go food shopping at the weekend so we are just using what we have. Might go later after work as no puppy today (only found out at 6.30am and had been up since 6am - could've had a lie in!). There's a portion left for lunch and DH has gone to Chippenham today so that'll be mine. For some reason we snacked last night on popcorn and pringles grrrr - could kick myself but once you pop...... Head back in the game today as really want to get to target!
Food today:
B - pancakes made with blitzed oats, vanilla mullerlight yoghurt, 2 eggs, will serve with sliced banana and maple syrup - HEB, 0.5, P, free, 0.5
L - leftover easy chicken curry, 2 plums, 2 satsumas - free, S
D - SW Chinese sweet and sour pork with noodles - 0.5 syns
HEA - milk
Syns - hi fi bar plus 1.5 so 4.5 total
Have a good day everyone,
Coxy
