I checked out the oatmilk with the scanner when I went shopping @Hundredsandthousands. Yes, it does show up as a HEA, including in Aldi.

How infuriating @bubbs and @Abbafan1972. So miserable to get a gain when it's undeserved. ☹️
It is worth checking out to see if the Pepsi max might be the culprit @bubbs. I'm sure I've read about fizzy, 'diet' drinks being a problem. 🤔
What a selfish person to upset your group like that @Abbafan1972. Consultants do vary a lot but that's no excuse for being rude and aggressive. I think it can be a confidence thing as some stick very rigidly to the format they're taught while others are better at promoting discussion and answering questions. My first consultant was in the 'nice but dim' bracket and couldn't explain anything, as if SW was a magic formula you had to follow without question.
I agree that Extra Easy is simpler than the old system but I think the old Green Days were ideal for vegetarians and vegans so it's a shame they don't focus on that more.
It's unfortunate about the word 'syns' @SingleSue. It actually stands for synergy rather than bad stuff. It's to show that an amount treats (as I think of them) are part of the healthy eating plan and shouldn't be left out as they're part of the balance.
I've been asked to be a consultant too @Coxy11 but I'm too much of a maverick for that. I don't think SW would approve of the syn bank or my idea that drinking prosecco is a good SW choice as it's only 24 syns per bottle! 🤣
Food shop and meal plan done so 🤞 for a good week. I've got to go to a funeral on Wednesday (DD's lovely elderly neighbour) but hoping to get away with a coffee afterwards. I've been really good for weeks and don't want to mess it up the day before WI.
Today's EE plan -
B- HEB toast, fried egg (P), mushrooms and tomatoes (S), HEA1 milk for drinks
L- egg (P), bubble and squeak (F, S), beetroot (S)
D- chicken with salsa (P, S, HEA2 cheese topping), SW chips (F), carrot chips, mushrooms, green stuff (S)
Syns - salsa 2?, weekend wine 😁

I still have Green days occasionally but just don't call them that!!! It's handy on days when I want to have 2 HEBs as well has 2 HEAs. Having said that I've not had a Green day for a long time.
Sorry about the gains @bubbs and @Abbafan1972, definitely seems unfair when you've had a good week. Well worth reducing the Pepsi Max to see if that helps @bubbs. I sometimes wonder if the amount of diet tonic and diet ginger beer I drink has a negative effect.

Sorry about the gain @bubbs and @Abbafan1972 . Will be interested to hear if Pepsi might be the culprit.
Enjoy your night @beanielou I ❤️❤️❤️ lasagne.
Sorry if I’ve missed anyone, have still to read back as I’ve been busy and finally managed the great freezer defrost 🤣. Only a wee bag of leeks binned, just couldn’t face any more leek and potato soup. I couldn’t think what else to make that would either go with what we were eating up or not make more food for the freezer.
WI tomorrow, no idea what to expect after sleeping in last week and missing class and eating less speed this week with eating from the freezer.1 -
Thank you for all your comments.Regarding Pepsi max - I have the odd can but nothing major. Tea and coffee are my downfall I have to say! When I used to go to a different group I got approached a couple of times to apply to be a consultant. I can remember I was unhappy in my job at the time. I think there was a special offer on the start up fee at the time. I didn’t have the money anyway. I realise that you are self employed and have to buy all the stock etc. I’m guessing that if your group isn’t successful enough then head office will close it down. The bottom line is I still have a mortgage to pay and need a stable job, so it’s not for me. Plus I don’t drive.Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £26,322.670
