Aw fanks ladies! Definitely more confident to try different clothes now I've lost a bit of weight. Usually just wear jeggings when WFH! I even tucked a blouse into my tailored work trousers yesterday for the first time in years!  :D

After a lot of thought I've decided to join online membership as it seems "very easy" to make mistakes and I usually lack energy to make it to class but hopefully that will change :)
SW Online is much better than it used to be. There is a community bit with message boards etc (not as good as this of course ;)) and there are often zoom sessions which I found very helpful, there's no pressure to have your webcam on and most of them your mic is muted but they have a chat bit where you can still join in and be interactive. They have a really good session on having a fabulous first week and one called fresh start which I found really helpful. They record them all too so you can watch them back

Coxy you look amazing! I'd say definitely no spanx needed, such a pretty dress too, I can't wait to be able to wear clothes like that and not feel like I need to suck my belly in all the time 🤣

Agree with everyone else @Coxy11 that you look absolutely amazing and certainly no need for Spanx!  Are you planning on losing any more as you don't look as though you need to!

  • I've done it! I managed to find a £5 discount for online membership and I'm all set up :)

Cherry_22  I'm very impressed with it and have been scanning barcodes in my kitchen :D
I will look out for the zoom sessions, thank you x

    Now for the depressing part.....
I stepped on the scales and OMG! :'(  It was a lot worse than I thought.
    4 stone 5lb to loose :o

Ooh great that you found the voucher @Hundredsandthousands - don’t worry about that number as you won’t see it again once you’re on plan. Looking forward to joining you along the way xx

I want to lose another few lbs then I’ll be ready to call target I think - when you know, you know!

    Didn’t think about a petticoat @maman - good idea!

Today I’ve had 40g of puffed wheat with skimmed milk - HEB and HEA
    A hi fi bar - 3 syns
    Some pineapple - free
    A 3 egg cheese omelette - P, HEA
    Peppermint tea for my tummy!

    Couldn’t face anything else!

  • I’m an “on-liner”
I like the food diary on the app and now there is a barcode scanner it is so much easier to find syns. if you need anything, just holler. We’ll all help whenever we can.
I lost 1lb this week - think my Easter target is going to be a challenge now but I shall keep plodding along.
I love the dress Coxy. You look great in it and no need for Spanx at all. We are our own worst critics aren’t we.
just been to Lidl for some supplies, now having a tin of tomato soup with my HEb - proper comfort food.
The wind has already started to blow and I think we are in for it in the early hours. I know we’ll never get flooded up here on the hills but we are very exposed when it’s windy.

  • Great @Hundredsandthousands and well done for stepping on those scales :) You can look forward to seeing those numbers go down now. I also love the barcode scanner on the app its especially handy when out shopping. When I'd first started SW in January and was clearing out my kitchen cupboards I was astounded at some of the syn values of what I thought were healthy-ish foods

Hope you feel better soon @Coxy11 I love peppermint tea when I've had a dodgy tummy
