oh my, you have a lot going on TIE. Look after yourself too. SW will be the last thing you want to think about but sometimes it bizarrely gives you a wee respite from other things.Well, no idea how I did this week as I slept in! Couldn’t believe it, slept through two alarms. So text consultant to apologise and got quite a snippy reply back. Don’t think he believes me 😳
Food shop and menu plan for the week done. Sitting down to watch the rugby now - with a Peroni 😆0 -
Well done @Coxy11 on your 1.5lb loss and regaining your 1.5 stone award. Do you think you have much more to lose? I still have a bit of a belly and at target but then I don't really exercise so it'll definitely be staying!
So sorry to hear your bad news @TakingItEasy! It never rains but it pours as they say. Look after yourself. Put SW on the back burner for now if necessary, although as @Jellybaby says it can give you a wee respite from the other things going on in your life.

The red wine wine stock pots are brilliant aren't they? I always use them when I'm making anything with mince or beef stew. The white wine ones are great for things like risotto.

So sorry to hear your news about your sister @TakeItEazy. 🤗 I'm assuming the home visit is to give your DH advice on learning to live with his condition but don't they realise how scary oncology is as a term.☹️ I think you and @bubbs should just look after yourselves. If you want to pick then fine but I agree that sticking to plan is something we can control.
Really pleased for you @Coxy11. 👏👏👏 Did you set a weight target? Are you happy with your dress size? 🤔
I just love the wine stock pots. I'll use one for tomorrow's beef in red wine and I'm convinced DH doesn't realise there's no real wine in there. I usually use a white wine pot for my Bolognese @Jellybaby but I'm sure red would be just as good.
I missed lunch today as I wasn't hungry before we left for football.

Sorry @TakeItEazy I missed your post earlier as went straight out. I'm sorry things are so awful for you right now. Thinking of you and your DH and DSis xxx I think we've all had annus horribilis - ours was 2016 - redundancy and long term unemployment for DH and the sudden death of my nephew. Sending love and strength xx
We took mum and DS2 to ASK. I had no starter, coke zero, a warm salad of chicken, pancetta, green beans, sweet potato and lettuce. Had a mint tea and no pudding. The 2 pears I had for breakfast at group (plus the 2 from yesterday) are giving me bellyache! We had a tasting session at group - someone made curry loaf, there was a tea loaf (2.5 syns a slice but lush) and some pizza made with the soft pittas. Will definitely try the pitta pizza at home.
I'm feeling good in my clothes but would like to lose a little more, so will keep going. Feels a bit of a stretch to get to next shiny so may have to settle for somewhere in between.
