It's strange isn't it @joedenise. Like you, I don't really like sweet things. I never have (or crave) a pudding after a meal or want cakes or biscuits or sweets. But I love marzipan, enjoy a box of cherry liqueurs at Christmas and always make sure I have baclava with ice cream at least once when I'm in Turkey every summer.
It's made it easier with SW but I had to ban crisps and cheese when I first started.0 -
My son had requested for his losses not to be mentioned during group (for example, if he got slimmer of the week etc) but then got a bit annoyed when members were coming up to him congratulating him on his losses. She never ever mentions any gains people might have.
He's fine about it now as he found it stops the questions over how much he has lost and saves on having to do people time.
Tried one of the SW recipes today, the Air fryer roast turkey dinner (minus the sprouts, neither of us like them). It was incredibly easy to do and tasted absolutely wonderful and I got to have fun bashing any anger out on the turkey. I did exhaust myself doing it as it then put me in bed for the rest of the day but it was totally worth it.We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.

Morning all. Sorry to hear about your DH's issues @TakeItEazy - sounds very worrying and hope they manage to get his dialysis ports sorted soon.
Well done on the losses @Coxy11 and @bubbs. I've got a 1lb gain this week but it is TOTM so I know its just bloating / muscle gain. I noticed that the vest top I put on this morning was quite baggy around my top half and I've had to start wearing my bras on the smallest set of hooks so must be doing something right!
Workout complete this morning, followed by yogurt, granola and blueberries for breakfast. Lunch is carrot and coriander soup with a couple of linda mccartney sausages on the side and dinner is cajun dirty rice (it's a new to me recipe so again will report back if it's any good!)

Sorry to hear that you had little gains @ruby_eskimo and @Matron_Midge but you know why so upwards and onwards. 👍
I've got about 30 syns left and no plans to use them this week so all good here. I'm taking advantage of this quiet time socially after Christmas as we're out to eat later in the week and have a few days away planned for next month when it will be harder to stay on plan.
I'm impressed with all the new recipes you've been trying @Coxy11. It's so easy to get in a rut.
Today's EE plan -

L- ham (P), 1 potato (F), LO veg and beetroot (S)
D- chicken (P), SW chips (F), roast vegetables and green beans (S)

Morning all, a bit of a frosty start here brrrr.
DH has gone to Solihull and I'm WFH today. I have a few back to back meetings - we will be told about the 'reforms' for our department today, deep joy. I have some Ebaying to do for my MH charity fundraising. Not sure if I said but a friend of DSis gave her 2 sacks of clothing size 18, 20 and 22. I've been selling them in bundles and have sold 3 bundles so far. Another 4 bundles to list today. I only had to iron a couple of items which was good!
Sorry to @Matron_Midge and @beanielou on your little gains. I'm sure you'll get that off this week, and more!! x
