Well done everyone on your losses; you're all doing so well. I've managed to lose a bit of weight since I got back from holiday but still too far over top end of target to go and get weighed officially! Think that will be at least another 2 or 3 weeks but don't actually need to go until I think 9 March (that will be 8 weeks) but hopefully I can shift it a bit sooner than that.
That's good that your dad has put on 2Kg @bubbs. Sorry you have problems with the hired static. Agree with others that you should get some compensation plus money off for the hire for the inconvenience. The owner obviously didn't drain down properly for the boiler to be frost damaged!
Today's plan:
B - weetabix with milk - HEA2; HEB (didn't have any fruit and finished it all last night!)
L - LO roast chicken, salad bits, pickles - P; S (the soup didn't defrost very well and would mix again so ended up throwing it)
D - Fakeaway KFC which we didn't have yesterday - I've bought some corn on the cob today!
HEA1 and 2 - milk
HEB - weetabix
Syns - panko crumbs 4 (may be less depending on how many used!)

Hi everyone. I’m still plodding along here. Lost 1/2lb when I weighed in so that’s a total of 5.5 in January. I’m a bit like joedenise in that I need my carbs. I’ve tried making the portions smaller but it leaves me with the munchies and then gawd help me.
I’m making a sweet potato and halloumi tray bake tonight. It’s a Slimming eats recipe. Sounds yum and I’ll report back later. Not serving anything else with it as there is peppers, onions, courgette and tomatoes in it along with some sweet corn. Hubby and any one else eating here might have a flat bread with it and I do have a bag of rocket so might just put some of that on my plate to try and speed up.
it’s time you started having a bit of good news Bubbs! I am glad your dad has gained though, and that is a good percentage gain for him.
I’m very glad you are still doing so well single sue.1 -
Well done on the losses @VALM, @SingleSue and @cherry_22. 👏👏👏 Great to get a shiny as well @cherry_22 and your next one is just 3 lbs away @SingleSue. 👍
I didn't manage to get on yesterday but only syns were in a tsp of mustard with the gammon for dinner. None planned for today so will be under the 105 for this week, provided I ignore the throat sweets. 🤣 Feeling much better now so next week looks OK.
Sorry to hear about the tough times many of the you have with work and your accommodation @bubbs. But we mustn't let it derail us as then we'd feel even less in control Great news about your dad's weight gain @bubbs. 👏👏👏 A first for the SW thread. 😁
I think SP is only meant to be followed for a short while to kick start flagging weight loss . I've only ever done odd meals. I suppose any cutting back on carbs or portion size helps but I've never tried it for long enough to make a difference.
Today's EE plan -
B- HEB porridge, HEA 1 milk, berries (S), banana (F)
L- ham (P), home fries (F, S), beetroot (S)
D- SW Bolognese (P, S), spaghetti (F), HEA2 Parmesan
Syns - 01 -
Evening all
Well done to all the losers, some fab losses 👏👏👏👏
Boiler all sorted, we have water, tonight we had too much and a pipe bloody burst 🤣🤣 You honestly could not make it up!
I wouldn't of known apart from i was going round my friends next door to take her post as picked it up with mine and water was everywhere, so called DH, i went round Mags and she said ok now all sorted? I said look out your kitchen window 😂😂 she goes for ducks sake!!
Dh managed to fix it, we rang the owner i said that's another £50 off the bill 😂😂
DH said it's because it's been drained down, hard frosts and the problems it has been this week having water on and off the pressure had fractured the pipe.
Coxy she did come down weekend and that's when she discovered the problem with the boiler, she had them out Saturday and they said they had fixed it!
Foods been a bit hit and miss!
I had a pack of ham i bought when out.
Then i was starving and succumbed to half a big bag of crisps, even after looking how many syns they were 🙈🙈
Then i had some seafood sticks, banana and satsuma
Then i had my tea Cottage pie, speed veg and 4 syns gravy
No i didn't bring ice cream maker Denise, i am going to get it Saturday though 🤣🤣
I have done sp before not a big loss, I don't eat many carbs but missed banana although I don't eat many I wanted them when I couldn't 🤣🤣

Morning all,
More issues @bubbs! Thank goodness you noticed the burst pipe - definitely more money off please! That cottage pie looks amazing.
The SW easy chicken curry was lovely - even more so as DH cooked it! I didn't finished until 5.30pm and we were going out to see The Fabelmans. Really good movie if you can catch it - a love letter to Spielberg's family and cinema. Dinner tonight is loaded sweet potatoes. They are topped with smoky turkey chilli I think? Anyway, something new to try.
We have pup for two days now as DIL2B is in the office. He's snoozing now after having his breakfast. Will get out for a walk at lunchtime.
B - 35g Weetabix choc melts, FF yoghurt, banana, mango - HEB, free
L - Cheese and spinach omelette, carrot sticks, 2 satsumas - P, HEA, S
D - Loaded sweet potato skins - free
HEA - milk
Syns - hi fi bar 3
Have a good day all
Coxy

Morning all, @bubbs definitely should ask for a bigger discount! Staying on track the way you do with all the different things you're juggling, you're my hero and inspiration 😁
Last night's dinner ended up being a chicken kebab! My brother visited unexpectedly and was here for hours but didn't want dinner so by the time he left DS was ready to eat me and his hands off!
Today's food:
B - toast (HEB), jam (2 syns), banana
L - last of the pea and ham soup from the freezer
D - veggie jambalaya
Have a good day everyone!0 -
Morning all. Those are fantastic losses @SingleSue - here's hoping you get a new shiny sticker the next time you weigh in.
Oh no, not more issues @bubbs, but at least this one has been fixed now. Think you deserve the ice cream after all this.
Another busy day on the cards at work today but did manage to get a workout and walk in before I started and was rewarded with seeing 4 deer while I was out! Thought that they had all disappeared from the local area as their usual grazing areas have been turned into housing developments over the past couple of years, so was so lovely to see them out and about. Had ff yogurt with blueberries and granola for breakfast, lunch is yet more soup and dinner is some basa fillets with mixed green veg and maybe some mushy peas as well.

Morning all, @bubbs - it's awful the problems you've been having and could all have been avoided if the owners had drained down properly! We'd have the same problems with our motorhome if we didn't drain down before the frosty weather so we always make sure to do it properly. Just have to fill it up if we want to use the motorhome and then drain down again. Didn't need to this winter as didn't use the motorhome! The advantage of sunshine winter holidays!
@ruby_eskimo - lovely to see the deer. Not something I've seen in the wild for quite some time. Last time was probably a couple of years ago in the New Forest when we were out for a walk one day.
Today's plan:
B - stuffed mushrooms - HEA2; S; F
L - falafel wrap with cucumber and carrot sticks - HEB; P; S;
D - chicken curry, rice - P; S; F
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
HEB - wrap
Syns - none planned but that might change later!
Have a good day everyone.0
