That pudding looks amazing @bubbs! You really excelled yourself this time, so much topping. 😁
Thanks for the round of applause. I'm delighted! I generally have a few extra syns when I know I have 8 weeks before WI but this week I'm going to be see if I can get a bit more off. I find maintaining relatively easy. I just want to maintain a bit further away from the top of range. 🤔
Sorry to hear about your dad and the glasses. It never rains.... ☹️
Hopefully you'll feel better soon and get your mojo back @beanielou. You lose so well when you put your mind to it. Could you try just buying enough treats to stay in syns? 🤔0 -
Oh Beanie, hope you soon swing things around 🤗
Maman it's the same amount as normal just in a glass

Hi all,
@bubbs hope your Dad gets sorted soon with his teeth and glasses! That pudding looks nice!@joedenise have a fantastic holiday.@beanielou hope you get sorted soon and pinpoint what is wrong.Well I went to WI last night and wasn’t happy at all as I had a 1lb gain! I have been good all week but the only things I can think of are that I have had a whole meal pitta bread as a HEB everyday - I don’t have any more left, so not going to buy anymore. I’m sure that bread bloats me out, but I will see if that changes anything. I confess I did have a takeaway Toby Carvery that my daughter got me on Tuesday, but I really don’t know.Speak to you soon.XxStriving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £26,322.670 -
Morning all,
Was channelling my inner @joedenise this morning as woke up at 4.45am! Unfortunately due to an odd dream not to catch a flight.
Busted spectacles now too @bubbs - I'm so sorry to hear this, your poor DDad x
Whoop whoop for being in target @maman - excellent stuff!
Don't worry about the 1lb gain @annabanana82, you'll soon have that off and more. I don't buy pittas as find them a bit heavy but was intrigued by the soft pittas that @bubbs and others have.
I got an Olio bargain last night - 4 x warburton small wm loaves for the freezer. That's my bread intake sorted for the next few months!
Food today:
B - blueberries, fruit wheats, FF nat yog - S, HEB, free
L - JP, tuna, LTL mayo, satsumas - 1.5, P, S
D - SW chilli and prawn spaghetti - free
HEA - milk
Syns - hi fi bar, G&slimline T - 7
Have a good day all.

Morning everyone,
Have a fantastic holiday @joedenise
Well done for being in target range @maman especially after the holidays
Could just be fluid @annabanana82 but it's tiny and you'll get that off in no time although I know how frustrating it is
Hope your dad is OK @bubbs, loved your pudding but even more envious of your nails!
Daren't say it out loud but hoping for a quiet day at work - we'll see. I'm having a using up day today - and drum roll please, I have a list of what's in the freezer! Cupboards next.......
Today's food:
B - f/f Greek yoghurt, fresh fruit salad
L - baked potato, tuna, salad bits (2 syns for salad cream)
D - sticky chicken with rice, roasted carrots and broccoli (SW recipe but need to check syns for honey)
Have a good day all.0 -
Morning everyone, another chilly one!
@Jellybaby I love sticky chicken its one of my fave SW recipes - usually around 2 syns for the honey I think depending on how many you are making it for
Did my food shop yesterday intending to try the soft pittas but they were sold out! There must be other SW-ers who got there before me 🤣
Just been out for a walk to get some Body Magic in and back home for a late lunch now. There's a step challenge at work that a few of us are doing and it's so hard getting motivated when it's freezing outside, however I'm thinking it can only contribute to the weight loss and the losing of inches so that's keeping me going!
Today's food:
B- apple and cinnamon porridge HEB with honey (1), cuppas with HEA milk
L- jacket potato (0.5) with beans and cheese, pickles and salad bits
D- chicken and veg risotto with greens
Other syns to be decided later£1 a day for 2023 #58 £165/£3650 -
@Coxy11 I had an odd dream last night as well. I dreamt I was at work as the woman I work with was there and I was carrying files but I wasn't in my workplace. It seemed that I was in a school as there were lots of corridors I had to walk down to get back to my office. I dropped the files at one point and then the next minute I was stood in front of a locker. I'd opened it, closed the door and closing the door caused loads of coins to fall through a shute on the front of it (like the shutes on arcade machines). I couldn't hold all the money. Then my alarm went off. If anyone can decipher dreams let me know. Is it worth buying a lottery ticket this weekend?
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Hope you got your quiet day @Jellybaby
Well done on the steps @cherry_22. I'm going to drop an Ebay parcel off after work and will pop to Sains for SOTW contribution and some more fruit for me. Haven't left the house today yet.
Strange dream @VALM - can't say I know what's going on there?! I would never advocate gambling given I work in the addictions space
Slight change at lunchtime. Had the JP with tuna, mayo and balsamic but added carrot sticks, celery sticks and some silverskin pickles to use the jar up. Still loads of odd jars from Christmas that need using. More speed so all good.
