Of course @joedenise, you'll look quite the femme fatale! 😎 Glad to hear it's not painful though.

I think the 7lb increments is a great idea. My first consultant was very keen on final targets but not the current one.

You're doing so well @SingleSue and it's excellent news that you'll easily reach the weight needed for surgery. Any idea when that might be? 🤔

My original 'uniform' is long gone @Jellybaby. My group had a good laugh because my trousers became so loose I could get in and out of them without undoing the zip! I wore them for a while with a belt but now I always wear leggings and my lightest top (which I know because I've weighed it! 🤣).
It's a way to go to the surgery weight but not as much as I thought it would be. My initial target is what I am close to but that was never the end game, just a figure that I plucked out of my head as something I would like to get to as a first stage goal. To get that goal would mean a loss of 2 stone 10lbs.

Surgery weight goal would be a total loss of just under 6 stone from start weight, so almost halfway but I didn't want to think about that initially in case it demoralised me (hence setting the smaller goal at the start)
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Morning all.  You've just reminded me that I forgot to pick up the red onion sausages in Aldi on Monday ☹  I even remember walking past and thinking that they had loads, but they didn't make it into my basket 😂

Had porridge with banana for breakfast because it's still so cold here.  Lunch is more soup and dinner is sausage, mash, broccoli and roasted carrots for dinner, so basically all the comfort food.

Hope everyone has a good day!

Morning!  Another beautiful cold frosty morning here.  Snow showers forecast later this morning but have everything crossed it doesn't come to much as I've booked a sports massage for after work to help iron out the stress and tensions of the last couple of weeks.

DS has pinched the l/over meatballs I was planning for lunch today!  He started work early and sent me a text to say look in the fridge - not amused, plus it was 5am!

    Today's food:
B - bran flakes (HEXB), f/f Greek yoghurt, berries
L - bacon medallions, mushrooms, tomatoes, potato scone (3 syns)
D - salmon, roasted potatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots

    Have a good day everyone.

    Morning all,

London office again today and it's a bright, frosty day in London.

I didn't have anything to bring for lunch so have bought Orzo from M&S.

    Food today:
B - overnight oats, frozen cherries, mullerlight vanilla - HEB, free, 0.5
    L - M&S orzo, mango chunks, grapes, satsumas - 2.5, free, S
D - Spanish fish and potato bake - free
    HEA - milk
Syns - hi fi bar plus 3 so 6 total

    Have a good day all,
    Coxy

Morning all, it's very cold and frosty here too but even so I've washed the bedding and hung it out to hopefully get the worst of the water out before bringing it in later and hang on the airer to finish off 🤞.

I wouldn't have been amused either @Jellybaby with getting a text at 5am and pinching your planned lunch into the bargain.  Still at least you've got something else in that you can have instead.

Packing is more or less done for our holiday and we've checked in online.  We're off early Friday morning (about 4am!) - hardly worth going to bed Thursday night!

    Today's plan:

B - bacon omelette - using up the last of the bacon and eggs - P
L - toasted cheese sandwich - again using up both bread and cheese - HEB; HEA2; P
D - chipolatas, chips, beans - chipolatas LO from Christmas; frozen chips - F; 8

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - bread

    Syns - chipolatas 2.5 each = 5; chips 3

    Have a good day everyone.

You've got half way to your surgery weight in under 6 months @SingleSue. That's excellent! 👍🏼

It's a glorious day here, cold but bright and sunny.

I'm not sure whether your DS's 5 o'clock text was to apologise or gloat about the meatballs @Jellybaby! 🤣

It's strange seeing you using up stuff preholiday at this time of year @joedenise, but it's not too bad a menu considering.

I nibbled at a bit of Wensleydale last night (which sadly isn't HEA) but only had about 10g for a flavour hit then pulled myself together and had a pear. I've used just over 60 syns this week so definitely on plan even allowing for any conservative guesswork. 🤞🏼 if I am still out of target tomorrow, it won't be by much.

    Today's EE plan-
B- HEB toast, scrambled eggs (P), HEA1 milk for drinks
    L- lentil soup (P,S), mackerel salad (P,S)
    D- Spaghetti Bolognese (P,S, F) with HEA2 Parmesan
    Syns- 0

The whole week hasn't been the best so glad I'd already made the decision not go to WI this morning as I'm sure I've already gone out of range!  Good luck for WI tomorrow @maman, hopefully you'll be back in range - 60 syns over the week is very low!  A low week for me is around 70-75 syns.  Think I'd of had more than 10g of the cheese!  There's a piece of stilton still in the fridge but think I'm going to freeze that so that we can have that when we come back - I know it'll be syns but for the flavour it's worth it!  I'm not planning on going to group for at least 3-4 weeks after my holiday.
