Just spoke to Mum as it was my sister that told me, Mum said where are your teeth he said i don't know.....that's his answer to everything 🤣
So they looked everywhere, in his bed, down his pj legs, under the bed, under the unit, under beds near by, asked Emma the auxiliary she said she has just cleaned them put them on his table, got called away came back and in this time he had shoved the table and everything on it!
She looked everywhere but they could have sllid anywhere.
Mum said come on then are you going to eat some tea? He said i can't i haven't got my teeth, since he has been in there 8/10 times he won't put them in to eat his tea 🤣 it's a never ending battleSealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance:0 -
Found I could do 'fried' eggs in my omelette maker (no oil used), absolute revelation and I thoroughly enjoyed my two eggs with some sweet potato chips (SW).
We've had difficulties finding eggs in the supermarket but no issues at our local farm shop and they were cheaper too!We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.

Morning all, the weather is absolutely horrible! It's been raining all night and forecast to rain until late morning and also very cold. If I didn't have to go and pick up our prescriptions I don't think I'd be going out until later! I've also got to return a parcel but at least the PO is near the doctor's surgery and not in the opposite direction!
@bubbs - that hospital sounds absolutely useless! Good on you and your sister keeping on at them. Do hope they find your dad's teeth.
I think I must have been really lucky where eggs are concerned as I've always been able to pick some up when I've needed them and I probably buy a couple of dozen most weeks!
Well done all the losers and TIE STS is a good result if your meals are not on plan when your DH cooks. I hope your DH is feeling better soon.
I'm sporting a lovely 'shiner'! Tripped up in the garden yesterday afternoon and caught just under my eye on the edge of a paving slab so spent about an hour at the local Minor Injury Unit getting it cleaned up and steristripped before being sent to the main A&E which is a 40 minute drive away and ended up there for about 4 hours! The local hospital thought my eye socket. bone may be chipped and they have no X-ray facilities at the weekend. Ended up having a CT scan but fortunately no chipped or broken bones but it seems I'm lucky not to have any damage to the eye. Ended up with a chicken kebab last night as didn't get home until nearly 9 o'clock by the time we'd found somewhere open - our local kebab shop was closed so we had to go into the main town to find somewhere open.
Today's plan:
B - scrambled eggs and spinach on toast - HEB; P; S
L - LO chicken kebab and masses of salad - P; S; 2 (suspect a bit of oil although not greasy)
D - lamb shank, roast potatoes, veg - P; S; F; 2 (what we should have had yesterday!)
HEA - milk
HEB - bread
Syns - lamb shank 2
Have a good day everyone.

@joedenise hope your eye feels better soon and glad there was no lasting damage.@bubbs I hope you find your Dad’s teeth. I can remember my Nan being in a home and things were forever going missing.I did quite well syns-wise yesterday, until DH cracked open a Terry’s chocolate orange!I hate January and don’t have much money at the moment - can anyone recommend a cheap SW recipe please? To top it off the cat needs to go to the vets 😳

Do you like spicy food @Abbafan1972? If you do a vegetable curry & rice or a vegetable biryani is cheap to make. I tend to use frozen mixed veg and cook it in a little water with curry powder in it. Chana Masala is another cheap meal to make (chickpea curry).
Pasta bake can be made quite cheaply, something like tuna pasta bake maybe.
What have you already got in your cupboards/fridge/freezer? It's the best place to start to suggest ideas for you.

Morning all, I woke to snow this morning! Full week WFH, it's going to be a long one 😁
Ouch! to your eye @joedenise but good there's no major damage (I'm now lusting after a chicken kebab).
Hope your dad's teeth turn up @bubbs it all adds to the stress doesn't it. Take care of you x
@VALM just draw the line and get back on it
Food today:
B - bran flakes, f/f Greek yoghurt and last of the raspberries
L - tuna salad
D - beef stew (loaded with carrot, onion and turnip) with potatoes and broccoli
Syns - none planned so far
Have a good day everyone!

Morning all. Sorry to hear about the stress with your dad @bubbs, here's hoping he's in his placement soon 🤞 My SiL was also a big loser and gainer at SW, think the most she lost in a week was 14lbs, but has put most of it back on again. She's now trying WW apparently 🙄🤷♀️🤔
Hope your eye's ok @joedenise and that any swelling and bruising goes down soon
Managed a 2lb loss this week when I weighed in which is probably due to stress with the parents which means I haven't really fancied food. Have kept up with the exercise though as something to take my mind off of it all. Breakfast this morning was weetabix with kiwi fruits, lunch is going to be butternut squash soup and dinner is not very SW-friendly Korean army stew.

Morning all,
Sorry to hear your DDad is in pain AND they’ve misplaced his teeth @bubbs – you really couldn’t make this stuff up. I really hope he can be moved out of there soon, so he can settle down and get better x
Worrying about the thrombosis @TakeItEazy – I do hope your DH is okay x
I will post the SNS pork recipe when I’m home later @joedenise and @maman. Lots of veg and could have done with even more beansprouts as only 50g required, but couldn’t see them tbh and the bag was huge!
How awful about your eye injury @joedenise and sorry you had to wait so long – was that the MM hospital? I waited longer than that with my Mum – it was chaos!
Good luck for getting back on plan for Wednesday’s WI @VALM x
A good loss for you @ruby_eskimo but sorry you have parent worries x
As I mentioned, I’m in the London office today. Trains surprisingly on time despite the sleet!
Yesterday was a blur of activity – housework, sorting DS2’s gubbins to return to uni etc. DH dropped me off at Mum’s en route and I spent 1.5 hours trying to sort her laptop/email issue. She has 7 different email addresses as changes it each time she upgrades her equipment (PC, laptop, phone etc.) as doesn’t realise the email goes with you. She could really do with some IT for seniors lessons, but won’t spare the time to do it, preferring to go to knit and natter and put the world to rights. I had the POA back with a query – she was bemoaning how annoying it all is – yes, for me especially, as I’m trying to sort this whilst working full time and have so far spent nearly £100 of my own money on registering POA plus secure postage, only for it to be sent back!!
Ended up eating kedgeree at 8pm last night as got home so late!
Food today:
B – banana, pineapple chunks – free
L – HM BNS soup, WM roll, grapes, satsuma – mostly S, HEB
D – spaghetti bolognaise – free
HEA – milk
HEA – parmesan
Syns – hi fi bar 3
I’m drinking green tea with lemon at work now as means I don’t need to bring in a little pot of milk (which invariably leaks…) – also saves on my HEA allowance. Drink regular tea at home though. Will also try to up my soft drink intake this week – that’s the plan anyway.
Have a good day everyone,
Coxy
