    Hi everyone

Well done fellow losers on the scales today and I'm over the moon to report a 4lb loss for my first week!

Have been decluttering the food cupboards this morning and scanning things using SW app to see what to keep/give away. I've found a knorr packet of thick veg soup and completely shocked to see that it equals 13 syns! I used to have things for lunch like this frequently and think I was being healthy, how eye opening.

Today is my day off and once all the food is back in the cupboards after my declutter, I'll be meal planning as we do a food shop on Thursday. I saw a thread somewhere about reverse meal planning (maybe on the OS board) around what's already in the cupboards so I'm going to try that this week. Need to get some steps in as well so will head out for a walk later.

    Have a super day everyone

Fab loss @cherry_22 and on decluttering the cupboards!  Good motivation for the week ahead.   I'm hoping to finally get around to tackling my cupboards and freezer this weekend 🤞

Back again after WI and as expected it was just a tiny loss of 0.5lb, at least it was a loss.  I'm not going to WI next week even though I don't actually go on holiday until Friday and I won't go for at least a couple of weeks after in the hopes of getting back into target range!  I've only got 0.5lb to play with so there will definitely be a gain whilst on holiday.  Hopefully I'll get another small loss this week before we go away but we will see!

Well done @cherry_22 - that's a great loss.  Good idea scanning the foods you already have in the cupboards, at least that way you know what you can work into the plan and what needs to be passed on to others.  You'll probably get a few more shocks apart from the one you've mentioned!

What a great day we're having for losses! 🎉

Your loss is amazing @cherry_22 and VALM to get SoW !  Very well done! 👏👏👏

@SingleSue and @joedenise, it's not even 3 weeks since Christmas and you've seen off any gain and more. Brilliant! 👍

I looked up the SW dirty rice recipe @Coxy11. Which brand of hot pepper sauce did you use? I'm amazed how low syn they are, just 0.5 syn for up to 3 tbsps.

Well done for sorting out the cupboards @cherry_22. This is a mse thread so any hints for saving money are welcome . I'd suggest you do the same with your fridge and freezer. Start your meal plan with using up anything fresh then make a shopping list of essential items to cook your plan.

I never understand those people who just throw stuff in the trolley with no thought for meals.

I've got more of Delia's red cabbage in the SC. Just got around to all the chopping but the cabbage is from veg wars!

We're having spaghetti tonight for the first time since DH broke his wrist. That should be fun! We've only had penne so far. I can see me chopping it up for him, like small children have it.

    Today's EE plan -
B- HEB toast, bacon eggs (P), HEA1 milk for drinks
    L- JP(F), veggie chilli (P, S), cottage cheese (P), beetroot (S)
    D- spaghetti Bolognese (P, S, F),  HEA2 Parmesan
    Syns-0
